2000 Cadillac Seville Sls-looks Good And Runs Great! on 2040-cars
Palos Hills, Illinois, United States
2000 Cadillac Seville SLS 4 Door Sedan. Mechanic owned and only 127,500 approximate highway miles on this baby.
The body is straight and she runs great! I did all the mechanical myself and recently replaced the alternator, brake pads, fuel pump and oil/lube change. So she's ready for the road. Not a show car, but definitely a really nice looking and driving vehicle, especially for her age of 14 years. The photos do not do her justice, but overall mechanically and body wise, she is a fine car. Bid in total confidence from an honest eBay dealer (private seller), for I have earned my 100% feedback over all these years. I will try to answer all of your questions, however I do work 12hrs., a day and 7 days a week. So I will do my best. This car has lots of nice features, as listed in my description. It's what you would expect from a Cadillac. The only reason for selling her is that I have too many cars and projects and I need the space. Again, not perfect, but really nice overall condition and she rides great with no known mechanical issues. So if you are looking for a nice and affordable car, this is it. Quite clean inside and out (interior/exterior) and with a little tlc she could be even better than she already is. Powerful 8 cylinder 4.6 Northstar engine and she runs great! Again, a really nice Caddy. Thanks for looking at my Caddy and hope you place your bids, many and often. Low reserve. I live in a southwest suburb in Chicago. Thanks again. |

Is this the 2014-15 Cadillac Escalade?
Fri, 19 Apr 2013Following the introduction of the redesigned Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra, we're expecting General Motors won't wait too much longer to show off the next-generation fullsize SUVs that share this platform - including the Cadillac Escalade. It's still not clear if the next Escalade will debut for the 2014 or 2015 model years, but Carscoops has what it claims to an exclusive first look of the new Cadillac, revealing a portion of the headlight, front fascia and wheel.
Judging from this small picture, it looks like the Escalade could incorporate styling cues that we've seen on new Cadillac models like the ELR and the 2014 CTS, but that article says that other design details could include tall, vertical taillights similar to the CTS Wagon, staggered-width wheels and a narrower daylight opening for the side windows. The last time we saw the fourth-generation 'Slade back in October in spy shots, the heavy camouflage prevented us from getting an idea of the luxury SUV's appearance, but this image and description gives us something to look forward to. Head on over to Carscoops for more potential information as well as a full rendering from back in January.

Cadillac to move select offices from Detroit to Manhattan?
Fri, 22 Aug 2014Under Johan de Nysschen, Infiniti moved its headquarters from Yokohama, Japan, to Hong Kong. Now at Cadillac, it appears the company's new president could be planning a relocation of at least some of the brand's operations from Detroit to Manhattan, according to a new report from Reuters.
In the case of Infiniti, de Nysschen pushed for the move because moving away from the brand's Nissan overlords would allow it a bit more freedom. It's evidently a similar case for Cadillac, with Reuters speculating that such a move would help distance the brand from the corporate culture in Detroit. A Big Apple move could also attract new talent that may have considered a job with the brand but were put off by the idea of living in Detroit.
It's important to note that if such a move takes place, it likely won't affect the folks actually responsible for developing the brand's vehicles. Instead, administrative functions, including marketing, could be the focus of the relocation.
