Up for Auction is my 2008 Chevy Avalanche LTZ 2WD. This truck is LOADED and has very low miles. Just a hair over 31,000 original miles. The truck is a bleach white color which is perfect for those hot days and very easy to keep clean. The interior is grey and is equipped with all the options offered with the LTZ trim. It has a Navigation/DVD/Backup Camera system in the front and a fold down TV for the riders in the back. Tow package, Flex Fuel option, rear AC, sunroof, wood grain trim throughout. This is a very clean truck inside and out and it really shows. It still has the new car smell. I am the second owner of this truck. It was purchased from a dealership outside of Phoenix in November of 2012 and had a little over 25,500 miles on it. I was told that the truck was traded in by a elderly couple that lived in Scottsdale which I can believe because it showed zero signs of abuse. The only thing I can see this truck needing in the future would be a set of tires. They are the original set from the factory. I have put very few miles on the truck since it was purchased. It drives like an absolute dream. Very smooth and quiet going down the road. These trucks really hold their value. KBB has it valued at over 33k in excellent condition and over 29k in fair condition. To be fair I would rate this truck as in very good condition just due to needing tires in the future. Other then that it can be classified as excellent condition. If you're looking for a dependable truck with low miles and that's loaded to the max with all the options, then this is the truck for you! Please feel free to contact me with any questions you might have. Winning bidder is responsible for shipping and or pickup at their cost. Thanks for looking!

Kurt Busch to shake and bake (again) in Ricky Bobby car at Talladega
Sat, 19 Oct 2013Kurt Busch will channel Ricky Bobby for another NASCAR race, this time driving a Wonder-sponsored Chevrolet SS, in this weekend's Camping World RV Sales 500 at the Talladega Motor Speedway. Unlike past tie-ins, though, there's actually an element of sponsorship here (the "Me" car was done when Busch was running on a team without sponsorship).
It was arranged by Flower Foods, the new owner of the Wonder brand. Wonder was part of the bankrupt Hostess company, which temporarily exited the US market 2012, and set off the Great Twinkie Shortage.
Busch has made something of a habit of channeling characters from famous racing movies, most recently running Tom Cruise's City Chevrolet livery from Days of Thunder in a Nationwide Series race earlier this year. Busch kicked off his movie-inspired antics, though, at Talladega in 2012, when he raced El Diablo's ("It's like... Spanish for like a fighting chicken") "Me" car complete with a cougar on the hood. He even went so far as to channel the lovable idiot that is Ricky Bobby during the race, dropping a few catchphrases about macchiatos and slingshots.
Steve McQueen's last movie car, now Pawn Stars-owned, up for auction [w/video]
Sun, 03 Feb 2013The last car Steve McQueen ever drove in a movie is officially up for auction. The 1951 Chevrolet Styline DeLuxe Convertible you see above is now owned by none other than Rick Harrison of Pawn Stars fame, but once ferried McQueen around the set of his last film, 1980's The Hunter. That flick saw the Bullit star play a bumbling bounty hunter and didn't exactly set the box office on fire. McQueen bought the car after production wrapped, and four years later it sold at his estate sale at the Imperial Palace in Las Vegas.
Flash forward to 2003, and the convertible received a full restoration back to near-stock specifications. Hagerty Insurance estimates the car to be worth around $45,000 without the significant providence. Given its ties to one of film's most popular gearheads, the old Chevrolet could fetch up to 10 times that when it goes under the gavel in Ft Luaderdale, Florida on March 22. You can head over to the Auctions America site for more information. You can also check out the trailer for The Hunter below.
First privately owned Corvette Stingray blitzes 1/4 mile in 12.23 at 114.88 mph
Tue, 01 Oct 2013Chevrolet's latest road rocket, the Corvette Stingray, is a very quick car. If one needs further proof of that, we recommend they take a look at this video from Hennessey of what is claimed to be the first privately owned C7 Corvette to make a pass down the quarter mile. Not just any quarter mile, mind, this black C7 blitzed its way down the tuner's primary testing dragstrip. The Chevrolet ran the quarter in just 12.23 seconds at 114.88 miles per hour. That is a very quick time for a stock car.
Equipped with the Z51 package and a six-speed automatic transmission, not only does the C7 run a solid time, but it does so with little to no drama. That won't last though, as Hennessey will likely return it to its owner with far more power - we just hope they show a drag run of the completed product. Take a look below to watch the C7's 12.23-second run on video.
