ACCU AIR COMPUTERIZED AIR RIDE SYSTEM INCLUDED WITH REMOTE CONTROL AND 3 PRE SET RIDE HEIGHT SETTINGS. AIR BAGS AND SOME LINES ARE INSTALLED AND FITTINGS INSTALLED FOR TEMPORARY AIR TO BAGS, BRAKE LINES NEED TO BE MADE AND INSTALLED, BOOSTER AND MASTER CYLINDER ARE INSTALLED. AIR BAG POCKETS AND A-ARM MOUNTS WERE RAISED TO INSURE PROPER RIDE HEIGHT AT ALL LEVELS. MUSTANG II TUBULAR A-ARMS, POWER RACK , TRIANGULATED 4 BAR REAR WITH GM 10 BOLT AXLE WITH 3.23 RATIO AND POSI TRAC . FRONT & REAR DISC BRAKES, (OLD DRUM REAR BRAKES INCLUDED IN BOX OF PARTS) NEW WHITEWALL TIRES. HEIGHT SENSOR BRACKETS INSTALLED ON ALL 4 CORNERS. MOUNTS FOR CHEVY V-8 AND TH 350 TRANS. NICE RUST FREE BODY. FRAME AND BODY WERE SANDBLASTED, BODYWORK HAS BEEN STARTED AND MOST OF THE MAJOR WORK IS DONE BUT NEEDS FINISHED ( MOSTLY ROOF AND 1/4 PANELS) NICE SOLID CAR . DRIVE LINE TUNNEL HAS BEEN RAISED, (SEE PICS) REAR WHEEL WELLS WERE IN PROCESS OF BEING RAISED BUT NEED FINISHED. REAR SUSPENSION COVER IS THERE BUT NEEDS FINAL FIT AND INSTALL AFTER WHEEL WELLS ARE DONE. IT APPEARS THAT ALL OF THE STAINLESS MOULDINGS ARE THERE AND IN DECENT SHAPE. BUMPERS HAVE BEEN RE CHROMED. BUMPER GUARDS AND GRILLE ORIGINAL. GLASS IS THERE BUT FLAT PANELS AND WINDSHIELD NEED REPLACED. SEATS HAVE GOOD UPHOLSTERY, PATTERNS FOR HEADLINER AND DOOR PANELS.

2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray convertible headed for Geneva debut
Mon, 28 Jan 2013While most of the world is still coming down from all the hype surrounding the debut of the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray at the Detroit Auto Show earlier this month, we're already looking to the future. And according to Autoweek, the next chapter in the C7 story will unfold at the Geneva Motor Show in March. That's right, General Motors is reportedly using the Swiss stage as its venue to debut the Corvette Stingray convertible.
If this strikes you as odd, you aren't alone. After all, with a car that's such an American icon, we'd fully expect Chevrolet to unveil it here on our shores in either Chicago or New York. But according to Autoweek, GM is looking to boost export sales of its halo car, and since the C7 was engineered to compete with the world's best and brightest, showing it off in Geneva is somewhat of a smart move. What's more, those with sharp memories will recall that GM used the Geneva expo to debut the sixth-generation C6 Corvette convertible back in March 2004, so there's also a precedent.
Details surrounding the Corvette Stingray convertible are still slim, though we fully expect the 6.2-liter V8 and choice of either six-speed automatic or seven-speed manual transmissions to carry over unchanged. Prototypes spotted on the road showed the car fitted with a cloth convertible roof, as well.

Thu, 02 May 2013With Mother's Day coming up, we're always looking for new gift ideas to celebrate the occasion, but hot laps around a track might not be the best suggestion for Darius Khashabi. In a video posted on YouTube, Khashabi straps his mom into the passenger seat of his C6 Corvette Z06 for some laps around Sonoma Raceway (formerly Infineon Raceway) at "60 percent" with comical results.
Now this isn't the first time Mama Khashabi has gotten seat time in her son's car around a track, as his YouTube page shows him pulling a similar stunt - with similar results - around Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca last year.
