For sale is a 2 door Chevy Belair. It has the original frame and was restored 5 years ago. The engine is a 396 Big Block and has tons of power along with a 4 speed transmission. The tires are Mickey Thompson and are in great shape. This car is not drove often; only on occasion. The title says 80,000 miles on the body, but are all original. It has not been drove over 700 miles since being restored. It has won several classic car awards and has always been garage kept and taken care of. When washed, it is done by towel wiping only. One of the most popular cars in history and is looks amazing. The selling price is cheaper than what it cost to restore it. Never have had any problems with it since restoring. Great car. Survey says $25k barrier is a problem for EVs

The majority of consumers are more or less priced out of the market.
Electric cars are gaining popularity with the general public, but are they still too expensive? According to a survey 1,084 consumers by Navigant Research, a consulting firm located in Boulder, CO, 71 percent want their next car to cost under $25,000, while 41 percent won't go a cent above $20K. Looks like people are even thriftier than we'd originally thought.
GM throttles back Chevy Malibu, Buick LaCrosse production over swollen inventories
Wed, 06 Feb 2013As inventory of the Chevrolet Malibu and Buick LaCrosse continues to pile up, General Motors will be idling its Fairfax Assembly Plant for two weeks, according to Automotive News. This move comes about a month after the plant was shut down for three weeks in late December and early January for the same reason. As of January 31, the GM had a 94-day supply of Malibu stock while the LaCrosse was a little worse with a 117-day supply.
Just last week, GM announced that it would be investing $600 million in upgrading this plant, but it's unclear what future plans the company has in store for Fairfax considering slow sales of both the plant's models. We do expect a refreshed and more luxurious LaCrosse shortly and an early design update for the Malibu to be announced at some point this year, although we have had no official word as to when either will happen.
