72 Blazer in good condition. Very little rust. Garage kept most of its life. I am the 3rd owner of this vehicle. It was going to be my project vehicle, but I have no time to mess with it. It has a factory 3-speed manual on the column. There has been new panels welded into the vehicle, which was done professionally as far as I could tell, and the backsides were undercoated. Floorboards are factory, and are still solid. Rockers are solid. Windshield frame is solid but some minor work will need to be done to the drip edge above the windshield. The motor runs good and is strong, but it burnt 2 quarts of oil when I drove it back from North Carolina last August. It's been sitting in my garage ever since, and does not smoke otherwise. Everything works on this vehicle. The only thing affecting its drivability is low tread on the front tires, and the shift linkage needs tighted up. Gearbox engages good and does not skip. This is a non-AC vehicle. Also, this is a 40 year old truck, it is not in perfect condition, but it's rare to find one that is this solid that has not been hacked up by the previous owners.

Supercharged, 6.2-liter V8? Check. Seven-speed manual? Check. Obsession with weight? Check.
What did you expect when Chevrolet said it was bringing a new Corvette variant to the 2014 New York Auto Show? Maybe a sticker and trim package, like the C6 Corvette Grand Sport or a tie-in deal like the Black Widow car from Chicago? On the opposite end, maybe there was an even more hardcore Z06 waiting in the wings. Who knew?

"Turbo" Chevrolet Camaro is a 700-HP fantasy car come to life [w/video]

For a concept car built to promote an animated movie about a snail that wants to go racing, this thing ain't half bad. The outsized monster you see before you started life as a Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, and then went through a big-time Hollywood makeover before being positioned on the Chevrolet stand here in Chicago.
This 2013 "Turbo" Camaro Coupe is getting the promotion machine ratcheted up for a new DreamWorks tale by the name of, you guessed it, Turbo. Coming this summer, the movie will follow one snail's quest to become a race driver worthy of making the cut at the Indy 500. Like many DreamWorks vehicles before it, we're guessing that the petrolhead snail will star in a movie that adults (especially racing fans) with have no trouble watching with their kids. Check out the trailer below to see if you agree.
As for the car, we're told that it is "instrumental" in transforming Turbo from snail into racer. Helping the beastly pony car in this mighty task, is an ankle-cracking front splitter matched by a ungodly huge rear wing out back, a COPO hood and a supercharged (yes, supercharged) V8 engine making more than 700 horsepower. 24-inch wheels all the way around - 10-inches wide in front and 15-inches wide in back - should allow the "Turbo" Camaro to hook up with ease, as well.
