Rare Chevy Blazer 1974 Cheyenne Edition
This is a rare find and is in excellent shape. It has no rust underneath the truck or on the floor boards. All the wheel wells are solid with no rust or bondo. The body is straight as can be. It has a brand new 350 small block crate motor, with brand new headman headers and magna flow dual exhaust out the rear. It has a mild cam in the motor, an air-gap intake, and a newer elderbrock carburetor that has been re-jetted to keep up with the motor. It also has factory air conditioning. It currently has an aftermarket hood on, but I still have the original hood if interested. The body is 95% completely finished and in perfect shape. There is one spot on the rear tailgate panel where water settled in the bottom and ate through the metal. There is also a little rust on the front hood from the bug shield, but not bad. It is a full convertible. The whole top is removable up to the windshield. The tires are decent, with about 50-60% tread left on them. The interior is factory and needs a little work, but would be a fun project. Serious inquiries only please. Contact Mike@ Cell: (801)280-3841 Email: miketietz48@yahoo.com |

Are you the 2014 Corvette Grand Sport?
Thu, 21 Feb 2013When are stripes more than just stripes? Follow up question: Is the product development team at Chevrolet really cocky enough to hide the next C7 Corvette variant in plain sight? This very recently spotted, and ostensibly obscured C7 asks a lot more questions than it answers, but there's at least some evidence to support that it might be the next Corvette Grand Sport.
The first and most obvious tip-off that something is up with this 'Vette revolves around those silver stripes. Obviously the stripes themselves don't necessarily denote a new model. However, when Chevy recently launched its "colorizer" website for the Stingray, there was no provision made for racing stripes - solid colors only.
Grand Sport exhibit number two is actually an incriminating lack of badges. The production Corvettes we've seen to date have all carried Stingray badges on their fenders, just behind the vent. The car seen in these images has no such badges, which is an intriguing omission on an car that looks like a production-spec vehicle otherwise.
Race Recap: 2013 Twelve Hours of Sebring, cakewalk up front, grindfest out back [w/spoilers]
Tue, 19 Mar 2013This year's 12 Hours of Sebring wasn't exactly a foregone conclusion because we're still talking about racing, and anything can happen when the speeds are as high as the adrenaline and the desire. But we're still talking about Audi bringing it's two top-spec racers - and its huge budget and its nearly neurotic attention to detail - to a race that it uses as a test bed for The 24 Hours of Le Mans and as a way to open the endurance racing season with a victory.
Besides, 12 hours is a long time, especially at Sebring, and things didn't go all Audi's way. On top of that, although it was a pretty quiet race, behind the Audis things got even grimier, with plenty of battles, plenty of mechanical issues, and the new BMW Z4 GTE and Viper GTS-R being race tested. Oh, and that brand new chromed-out DeltaWing...
Survey says $25k barrier is a problem for EVs
Sun, 01 Dec 2013
The majority of consumers are more or less priced out of the market.
Electric cars are gaining popularity with the general public, but are they still too expensive? According to a survey 1,084 consumers by Navigant Research, a consulting firm located in Boulder, CO, 71 percent want their next car to cost under $25,000, while 41 percent won't go a cent above $20K. Looks like people are even thriftier than we'd originally thought.
