I have owned this vehicle for almost 8 years, only reason I am selling it is I got a 4 door vehicle because of 3 teenagers. The blazer is a mechanically sound vehicle, has a hitch. Blazer also has a new water pump and intake gaskets, had a full service and tune up including transmission service less than 6 months ago. Oil has been changed every 3000 miles since I have owned it. The vehicle runs and drives good, steering is tight, 4wd works good in vehicle. Tires are somewhere around 50%, has full size spare that has never been used. It is far from perfect if you are looking for that but it isn't the price of a perfect one. If you are wanting a 2 door blazer for daily use or want a dependable 4wd that you don't care to use for less than the price of an atv this would be good for that. Are you the 2014 Corvette Grand Sport?
Thu, 21 Feb 2013When are stripes more than just stripes? Follow up question: Is the product development team at Chevrolet really cocky enough to hide the next C7 Corvette variant in plain sight? This very recently spotted, and ostensibly obscured C7 asks a lot more questions than it answers, but there's at least some evidence to support that it might be the next Corvette Grand Sport.
The first and most obvious tip-off that something is up with this 'Vette revolves around those silver stripes. Obviously the stripes themselves don't necessarily denote a new model. However, when Chevy recently launched its "colorizer" website for the Stingray, there was no provision made for racing stripes - solid colors only.
Grand Sport exhibit number two is actually an incriminating lack of badges. The production Corvettes we've seen to date have all carried Stingray badges on their fenders, just behind the vent. The car seen in these images has no such badges, which is an intriguing omission on an car that looks like a production-spec vehicle otherwise.

Watch this time-lapse build of the Chevy SS for NASCAR
Fri, 08 Feb 2013There's only about a week left until we get our first look at the production version of the 2014 Chevrolet SS sedan, but Chevrolet NASCAR teams have been looking at the race version of the car all winter. Autoweek has posted a really neat time-lapse video showing just a portion of what it takes to build one of NASCAR's new Gen6 stock cars.
Though the video is quite brief, it does show almost the entire build process starting with just the car's nose, and it gives us a good look at how integral the template is to the final product. As a bonus, Hendrick Motorsports also provided some videos showing two of its teams performing pit stop tests over the winter. The second video shows some of the more detailed aspects of the racecar's rear end, including the stock-looking trunk cutout and a newly mandated rear bumper extension that will be used on super speedways like Daytona and Talladega.
