I have spent way too much time and money on this vehicle and just the other day it let me down again. I now believe it is the pressure regulator under the intake cover so if you remove that intake cover to get to the regulator you might as well replace the spider injection setup its not hard to do I just don't want to spend any more money on the vehicle if you know how to do this it isn't hard they even have a YouTube video on changing the spider injection system which includes the pressure regulator all as one assembly you are definitely buying a great maintained vehicle the engine runs excellent till this regulator blew so once fixed, you will have a perfect truck with cold ac and hot heat with a lot of power and a new transmission and new brakes system front to back nothing left to do on it.
I have replaced literally everything but the engine and body
New : Transmission total rebuild less than a month ago, Fuel pump , tires ,brakes all within this week New power booster and master cylinder new exhaust and sensors the list is very long again it is like owning a brand new suv minus the engine which ran perfect like a bat out of hell including 4 wheel drive which the entire front end suspension also been replaced including both cv joints complete axles both tie rods just had the 2 front tires replaced all new brakes and brake fluid replaced at firestone 3 days ago every air conditioning part under the hood replaced I mean everything also new thermostat complete coolant flush brand new hoses temp sensor on the block the list is very long .
Last Wednesday took my son to school returned home was heading out to get some groceries and barely around the corner it just bogged and quit so I got it home replaced the fuel filter, air flow sensor ,map sensor ,air cleaner ,charged the battery finally got it running again but only at an idle if you touch the gas peddle a fraction it dies and is hard to start again I replaced every fuse in the fuse box even .  I am already taking at least a $4000 loss in parts and labor in just this last 2 months Heck the entire exhaust is new and it just went thru emissions in May, also installed alarm and remote starter plus this is the blazer that came factory with even power sunroof and power everything which all works including cruise control also have receipts owner manual repair manual Also new Curt Trailer hitch with new locking hitch pin and key never used. Battery still under warrantee 1 last thing still tagged and insured with clean title.

My name is Jerry my # is 410-325-0897 any questions or schedule appointment to see call me I am not on the computer 24-7 but my phone is on from 8am to 10pm Also I am selling locally so I reserve the right to end auction early.

Tarantino's stolen Chevy Malibu from Pulp Fiction recovered after 19 years [w/video]

Mon, 29 Apr 2013

Quentin Tarantino fans will likely remember Vincent Vega's cherry 1964 Chevrolet Malibu Convertible in Pulp Fiction. In a movie drenched in automotive references, the Malibu is very nearly a character in and of itself, and it serves as the subject of Vega's soliloquy about the kind of man who vandalizes another's automobile. It also happened to be Tarantino's personal car when the film was shot, and was apparently stolen shortly after production wrapped. Now police have located the car some 19 years later.
As it turns out, the thieves cloned the vehicle identification number from another '64 Malibu and had the car registered under the new digits. It was then sold to an unsuspecting buyer. Police happened upon the duplicate VINs while investigating another potential theft. Right now, it's unclear whether Tarantino has taken possession of the Chevrolet, if it has remained in the possession of the fraud victim, or whether it's caught somewhere in the gears of justice. Either way, you can catch Vega's memorable thoughts on the car keying in the Pulp Fiction clip below. But consider yourself warned: the video contains explicit language as Not Safe For Work as it comes.

GM sweetens military discount for Buick, Chevy and GMC

Sun, 06 Oct 2013

American servicemen and women interested in a new vehicle from Chevrolet, Buick or GMC now have a bit more incentive to head down to their local dealer, as General Motors has announced plans to improve its military discount program.
The new GM Military Discount Program offers eligible consumers a new Chevy, Buick or GMC at invoice pricing, which in some cases can take very large chunks out of a car's retail price. When factored in with other incentives, most of which are available with the Military Discount, the bargains are thick on the ground for members of the US armed forces.
GM's Retail Sales and Marketing Support general manager, Chuck Thomson, said, "GM has long supported the military and military families, and we hope this simplified and enhanced discount will show our appreciation for their service and help make it easier for them to own one of our great new vehicles." The program is open to all active duty and reserve members in the Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, National Guard and Coast Guard, as well as veterans that have been out of the service for less than a year. Military retirees and their spouses are also eligible for the discount.

Survey says $25k barrier is a problem for EVs

Sun, 01 Dec 2013

The majority of consumers are more or less priced out of the market.
Electric cars are gaining popularity with the general public, but are they still too expensive? According to a survey 1,084 consumers by Navigant Research, a consulting firm located in Boulder, CO, 71 percent want their next car to cost under $25,000, while 41 percent won't go a cent above $20K. Looks like people are even thriftier than we'd originally thought.
