You are looking at a daily driver, shop truck, head turning Rat Rod 1965 C-10 Custom Cab. The engine is a rebuilt 350 SBC V8 with less than 10k miles on it and is a strong runner. Stock Accessories, Rams Horn Headers, New oil and fluids, GM 80 amp alternator, new battery, 2 barrel Rochester carburetor, great on gas. The Manual Transmission shifts well with good clutch and gear selection is done with a 4 speed on the floor.

Perfect Bike hauler!!!

This half ton truck sits on 15”  Radial Wide White Wall Tires with 6 lug Steelies and rebuilt drum breaks in the front, 6 lug and drums in the rear, new master cylinder. Vintage "Buick Special" wheel covers class this cruiser up. A lowered ride with LJ Wrangler lowering springs in the rear with shorty shocks. New Windshield and back glass with seal. The rest of the glass on this Pickup is chip and crack free. The exhaust dumps out the side of the bed and sound great. Clean fuel tank, fuel lines. This "One of a Kind" Pick Up has many new and upgraded parts, well over 8K invested!

The interior is very comfortable. Stock dash with all gauges functioning well and accurate, with a upgraded vintage Craig cassette deck stereo AM/FM, Sounds good going down the road!! . The older reupholstered cloth bench seat is very comfortable and rip and tear free, Serape blanket complements the Kustom Kulture feel of the this pick-up. Clean carpet and mats, stock door panels make the interior of this truck pop.

The body is straight overall and is was shot in a Gun Metal grey with two tone white from the belt line up years ago and still shows well. It would shine up with wax if you wanted to, the clear is failing in places and gives it that found look. White 1964 bumper and grille for a classic look.

It has patina, some dents, dings and scratches; there is visible signs of rust in the common lower fender, a path panel is included with the auction if you want to repair it, see close up pics. I always loved the character these old trucks have.

That said the truck is SOLID!!!

The bed has 80% of the original wood with Plywood over it under the full bed liner mat, functioning tailgate, Custom  Polished Aluminum Diamond plate bed caps. Perfect for loading and securing your chopper or bobber in the back.

This is a California truck and has always been to the best of my knowledge, a daily driver with clear California title and a real Folsom Prison Black and Yellow stamped commercial Plate. Currently registered with Visible Vin and Body Tags. Drive as is or restore it, must see to appreciate!!!

Kurt Busch to shake and bake (again) in Ricky Bobby car at Talladega

Sat, 19 Oct 2013

Kurt Busch will channel Ricky Bobby for another NASCAR race, this time driving a Wonder-sponsored Chevrolet SS, in this weekend's Camping World RV Sales 500 at the Talladega Motor Speedway. Unlike past tie-ins, though, there's actually an element of sponsorship here (the "Me" car was done when Busch was running on a team without sponsorship).
It was arranged by Flower Foods, the new owner of the Wonder brand. Wonder was part of the bankrupt Hostess company, which temporarily exited the US market 2012, and set off the Great Twinkie Shortage.
Busch has made something of a habit of channeling characters from famous racing movies, most recently running Tom Cruise's City Chevrolet livery from Days of Thunder in a Nationwide Series race earlier this year. Busch kicked off his movie-inspired antics, though, at Talladega in 2012, when he raced El Diablo's ("It's like... Spanish for like a fighting chicken") "Me" car complete with a cougar on the hood. He even went so far as to channel the lovable idiot that is Ricky Bobby during the race, dropping a few catchphrases about macchiatos and slingshots.

Corvette Stingray Convertible images mysteriously appear on web, so we add our own

Tue, 22 Jan 2013

It was inevitable that we'd see the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray topless at some point, but that didn't make us any less interested when a pair of supposedly leaked official images showed up on theautoinsiderblog.com last week. We posted them on our Facebook page, but held off reporting on them here until we could get a little more information.
Those images, which feature a dark red car on a sterile black studio background, supposedly first appeared on the website of diecast model maker Maisto. A Chevrolet spokesman has been reported saying that they are "not official images released by Chevrolet PR," which isn't a denial they're the real deal, but neither is it a confirmation.
Close examination of the photos suggest they could be official shots of the Corvette Stingray Convertible, and while some have doubted their authenticity due to a lack of vents (which were seen on the C7s that debuted in Detroit last week), it could be that the images are of a base model car without the Z51 package that doesn't require the extra venting and cooling.

First 2014 Chevy Corvette Stingray spotted crashed in the wild

Tue, 12 Feb 2013

This restyled blue 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is wearing manufacturer plates, and it appears to be the same one seen around the internet in various pictures lately. This crash is likely not part of the Chevrolet testing regimen, however. Digital Corvettes forum member gpetry posted the shot with a note: "got this picture e-mailed from a friend in Arizona last week..." No circumstances are given, other than the incident occurred in the thick of a set of curvy roads, and the coupe ping-ponged off a guardrail and into the rock wall. Hopefully everyone involved in the incident walked away.
It may not be a pretty thing to see, a crashed sports car that's not even available for sale yet, but rest easy. Many pre-production cars are used for development and then unceremoniously crushed and scrapped, anyway. If that's the case here, that makes this wrecked 'Vette less of a tragedy and more of a case of exceptional efficiency.
