Thanks for looking at my 1971 Super Cheyenne .5 TON
This  truck is equipped with a 350 C.I. Engine, Automatic 3 speed transmission, power Steering,Brakes,Factory Ice Cold Air, AM/FM Stereo ,CD Player.     The short wide bed & 4x4 Super Cheyenne is one of the most coveted of the Chevy-GMC  Trucks and not easy to locate one with all of these options on any single truck. Almost forgot Factory Tach!
The trucks under carriage looks very nice in an unrestored way. The tires are a matched set of Michelins and new!!!  Interior is a light beige houndstoothe interior with black original carpet, some sun fade with minimal wear.  The bed has been sprayed with a bed liner material which is faded and, I think would look much nicer in a black coating. There are minimal dings or dents in the inside of bed.  Truck has had a color change from Gold& White to Red & White, paint is probably 8-10 rears old & shows normal rock chips, etc.   The only bit of corrosion is shown in pictures-drivers door ,lower corner. This corrosion on door is on outer door skin only and has not penetrated the inner skin, very easy fix. All else is very solid as far as I can tell.   The ride and the drive of the truck is outstanding, couldn’t be better, No surprises on the mechanical condition. This truck gets attention and turns heads. For further information call Ray Johnson   cell  940-393-0890

GM recalls Chevy Express, GMC Savana over rollaway concern

Mon, 21 Jan 2013

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has issued a recall notice for a small number of General Motors fullsize vans due to possible rollaway concerns. On certain 2013 Chevrolet Express and 2013 GMC Savana models, it is possible to remove the key from the ignition without the shifter being in park.
Only 980 total units are being affected by this recall, and GM is fixing the issue by replacing the ignition cylinder and associated keys. Affected Chevy vans were built during most of November and December while its GMC counterpart was only built for a week in November. The recall goes into effect on January 23, and to find out if your vehicle applies to the recall, the GM and NHTSA contact numbers can be found on the official recall notice, which is posted below.

Pics Aplenty: Meet the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra [w/poll]

Thu, 13 Dec 2012

Today was a pretty big day for General Motors, debuting the all-new Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra light-duty pickup trucks ahead of their official showcase at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show. And now that the dust has settled at GM's big reveal event, we've had a chance to snap dozens of photos of the new pickup pair from every angle.
We already told you the important bits earlier today (click here in case you missed it), but let's recap. Under the hood are three new engines - a 4.3-liter V6, 5.3-liter V8 and 6.2-liter V8 (you know, a version of the small-block that'll also be found under the hood of the C7 Corvette), all mated to six-speed automatic transmissions. The 2014 model year marks the return of the Z71 off-road package with Rancho shocks, front tow hooks and beefier underbody protection. Inside, there's a host of new technology and a greater focus on better quality and refinement.
Some of the nitty-gritty specifics (like engine output numbers and fuel economy) have yet to be revealed, and since we haven't driven the finished products yet, it's hard to say how these trucks will fare against rivals like the Ram 1500 and Ford F-150. For now, we can only judge these two books by their covers, and while we do like the designs of the new trucks, we Autoblog staffers are torn on exactly which one looks best.
