1972 Chevrolet Cheyenne 10, rebuilt 350 with mild cam, Turbo 350 Auto Trans. Factory A/C, excellent frame. Good body needs painted, dent in drivers fender could be fixed. Steel bed floor, new floor pans and rockers. Small rust forming on driver cab corner and above rear passenger wheel well could be easily fixed smaller than a penny. Also just noticed today rust looks to be starting on rocker. All could be fixed though.

Also the strips going down the side is 3m Tape and the clips that held the chrome on, I do have the chrome. Just took it off to prep for paint and never got around to it.

Air cleaner is not Included. I'm not a professional mechanic so I can't guarantee it will make it across the country or across the street. I was driving it until winter came on and I dropped insurance because I don't get it out on the salt. It runs good and strong I just don't want to tell you that you can get in and go to California and end up getting blamed if anything should happen because this is a 40 some year old truck and even with the rebuilt motor anything could go wrong same as in a new car. Buyer is responsible for pickup, cash in hand. It has a clear West Virginia title in my name. It is a long bed and does have disc brakes on the front with drum on the back.  Like I say it's old but everything seems to be there and is solid does need some TLC as you can see in the pictures. If the truck sales I do have a drivers fender to replace the dented one that came off another truck but is in good shape and not dented up.  Again the air cleaner does NOT go with the truck.

I've had it out of town and was driving it close to 35 miles a day and didn't have problems. Started it up this weekend and took up the street and back it fired right up no smoke or anything. I don't have a battery to go with it but do have one that can be used to drive it up on a trailer.  Buyer is responsible for pickup, cash in hand. It has a clear West Virginia title in my name. Any questions feel free to ask I have described this as best I can but I know I am forgetting something.

Hot Wheels Camaro to make big debut at Indy

Fri, 05 Apr 2013

Chevrolet handed over the keys to 33 Hot Wheels Camaro Convertible Indianapolis 500 festival cars this week. Race directors get the luxury of driving the droptops around Indianapolis in an ongoing tradition with roots all the way back to the 1960s. The stunt is supposed to remind area residents that the Indy 500 is right around the corner. The cars are our first look at the special Camaro Hot Wheels Edition in convertible form, and they are slated to head to dealers after a one-time production run. The cars also represent the first time in history full-size Hot Wheels have been offered for sale by an automaker.
The cars will be available in both the previously seen coupe bodystyle and this convertible configuration, and will feature metallic blue paint and special wheels with the iconic redline accent. Buyers will be able to choose between the V6-powered 2LT trim and the V8-powered 2SS guise.
Hot Wheels says the original Custom Camaro toy was one of the original 16 1:64-scale diecasts, and it remains one of the company's most valuable collector items today.

Hot Wheels' Twitter-enabled vending machine coughs up free Camaro diecasts

Wed, 27 Feb 2013

There are still plenty of companies that haven't gotten the whole social media thing down pat yet, but Hot Wheels isn't one of them. During the recent Canadian International Auto Show in Toronto, Hot Wheels created a lot of buzz for itself by using a vending machine filled with Chevrolet Camaro models, but instead of money to get the cars, show attendees just had to use Twitter.
To get the free car, people were asked to send a tweet to Hot Wheels Canada saying what they liked about the new Hot Wheels Edition Camaro, and including the #ChevyCIAS hashtag. This seemed to be a popular marketing tool, too, as AdWeek reports that the @HotWheelsCanada account more than tripled in followers during the course of the 10-day show. Looking ahead, this could open up even more innovative marketing possibilities using social media.
Check out the video posted below to watch how it works, and while the auto show has ended and the free-car giveaway has too, we're almost certain that some of the 1,500 freebies will make their way onto eBay.

GM profits threatened by glut of pickups

Wed, 05 Dec 2012

Automotive News reports that General Motors may slash production or ramp up discounts in order to deal with an oversupply of pickup trucks. GM currently has more than double the standard supply of pickups, and the vehicles are threatening to dampen the automaker's profits for 2013. Typically, automakers try to sustain a 60- to 75-day supply of vehicles, but GM is currently loaded with a 139-day supply, as of last month. At the end of November, the automaker was sitting on 245,853 units.
The manufacturer says that it will adjust production accordingly before laying any incentives on the profitable pickups. Even so, there's some concern that the inventory swell could hurt the roll-out of the next-generation Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra. GM actually began slowly stepping back production in August, but it's clear the company will take further action as it heads toward the end of the year and into the next. Analysts predict the automaker could reduce pickup manufacturing by nearly half in the first quarter of 2013.
That still may not be enough to keep GM from laying extra cash on the Silverado and GMC Sierra. While the company's incentive spending was down in November compared to the same month in 2011, both the Ram 1500 and Ford F-150 saw double-digit percentage increases in sales last month while the Silverado and Sierra numbers slid compared to a year prior. Incentive spending could help move more trucks and add some balance to the GM inventory surge.
