THIS IS GREAT 1972 C-10. VERY VERY NICE CONDITION INSIDE AND OUT. ENGINE COMPARTMENT WAS JUST PAINTED UP. NEW TUNE UP AND TIRES JUST PUT ON. NADA PRICE GUIDE HAS THIS VEHICLE IN THIS SHAPE AT $30000.00. THE BODY AND PAINT HAVE NO RUST OR DENTS. THE CHROME IS LIKE NEW. ALL THE GLASS WAS JUST REPLACED. THE RIMS AND CENTER CAPS ARE O.E.M. NOT REPRODUCTION. THE BED HAS A SPRAY ON LINNER AND THEN PAINTED AND CLEAR OVER. LOOKS GREAT. THE ENGINE AND TRANS RUN GREAT. THE UNDER CARRAGE IS SOLID AS THE PICTURES WILL SHOW. NOT SURE IF THE MILES ARE TURE MY GEUSS IS NOT. THE SHINE ON THE PAINT LOOKS GREAT. I BOUGHT THIS TRUCK FROM A GOOD FREIND IN JUNE OF 2010. Chevy Chaparral 2X Vision Gran Turismo concept blends the past and the future
Wed, 19 Nov 2014The Chevrolet Chaparral 2X Vision Gran Turismo is the rare concept car that salutes a seminal moment in history, yet also borders on science fiction.
Revealed Wednesday at the Los Angeles Auto Show, the concept uses the name of one of Chevy's historic racing partnerships, with Chaparral Racing, which dates to the 1960s. Chaparrals raced successfully at a range of levels, including IndyCar, Trans-Am and SCCA competition.
But the history ends there, as the concept's main purpose is as a racecar in a downloadable update for the PlayStation 3 game Gran Turismo 6.
GM recalls Chevy Express, GMC Savana over rollaway concern
Mon, 21 Jan 2013The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has issued a recall notice for a small number of General Motors fullsize vans due to possible rollaway concerns. On certain 2013 Chevrolet Express and 2013 GMC Savana models, it is possible to remove the key from the ignition without the shifter being in park.
Only 980 total units are being affected by this recall, and GM is fixing the issue by replacing the ignition cylinder and associated keys. Affected Chevy vans were built during most of November and December while its GMC counterpart was only built for a week in November. The recall goes into effect on January 23, and to find out if your vehicle applies to the recall, the GM and NHTSA contact numbers can be found on the official recall notice, which is posted below.
GM recalls select Chevy Cruze, Sonic and Buick Verano models over airbag issue
Wed, 14 Nov 2012General Motors is recalling certain 2012 Buick Verano, Chevrolet Cruze and Sonic models due to a defect in the driver's airbag system. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the airbag has a shorting bar which may contact two internal terminals. If that happens during a crash, the supplemental restraint may not deploy, increasing the risk of driver injury. The recall includes a total of 2,949 units.
GM will contact owners and replace the steering wheel airbag coil at no cost. At this point, it's unclear when the recall will begin, though owners may contact the automaker at 1-800-521-7300 for more information. You may also take a closer look at the full NHTSA notice below.
