WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING AT IS A FULLY RESTORED 1968 CHEVROLET C-10 PICKUP TRUCK WITH A 383 STROKER ENGINE, AND A TURBO 400 TRANSMISSION. UNFORTUNATLY WE DO NOT HAVE ANY BUILD SPECS FOR THE RESTORATION BECAUSE THE TRUCK WAS TRADED IN AND THE PREVIOUS OWNER DID NOT PROVIDE US WITH ANY DETAILS. WE DID HOWEVER GO THROUGH THE TRUCK TOP TO BOTTOM, AND IF ITS NOT NEW ON THE TRUCK, IT HAS BEEN FULLY REFURBISHED. THIS TRUCK COULD EASILY WIN ANY CAR SHOW THAT YOU WOULD TAKE IT TO. THE TRUCK HAS 4 WHEEL DRUM BRAKES THAT ARE ADJUSTED PERFECTLY TO WHERE IT FEELS LIKE IT HAS DISC BRAKES. Refreshed 2014 Camaro confirmed for New York debut
Thu, 07 Mar 2013We've already seen leaked specs and potential spy shots, but the refreshed 2014 Chevrolet Camaro will make its official debut at the New York Auto Show in a few weeks.
Besides a tweaked exterior and the possibility of a high-output LS7 under the hood, we really don't know much else about the 2014 Camaro, but here's hoping for an improved interior, too.
In addition to the refreshed Camaro, Chevrolet will also be showing off the recently introduced Chevrolet SS, making its debut on the auto show circuit, and we'll also get our first look at the C7 Corvette coupe and convertible side-by-side.

Autoline Detroit recently played host to Bob Lutz, and, as is always the case, the former General Motors vice chairman dished out some great commentary. Lutz was promoting his new book Car Guys vs. Bean Counters: The Battle for the Soul of American Business, and talk quickly turned to his role as it related to product development and high-level decision making at GM. While on the topic of brand management, Lutz revealed a few rather interesting tidbits about his former employer:

Toyota tops Kelley Blue Book's Resale Value Awards
Tue, 27 Nov 2012Kelley Blue Book announced its annual Best Resale Value Award winners, and we weren't too surprised to see the list dominated by Japanese automakers - mainly Toyota and Honda. KBB hands out the awards based on the projected residual value of mostly all 2013 model year vehicles, and Toyota skated home with a number of awards including 10 of the 22 overall categories and having five of its products in the top 10 for models with best resale value. KBB's Best Resale Value Awards were announced in the same week as the ALG Residual Value Awards, and there were many similarities between both lists, especially when it came to Toyota.
To come up with its winners, KBB measures depreciation over the first five years of ownership, and looks for the cars it expects to hold its value the best after this time; on average, the report says the 2013 model year vehicles will lose 61.8 percent of its value in five years. Of the 22 categories, 15 slots were filled by Toyota, Honda and Nissan products, while the Camaro and Porsche (Cayenne and Panamera) each took home a pair of awards. If Toyota has anything to be upset about in this list of cars, it's that categories for Hybrid/Alternative Energy Car and Electric Vehicle went to the Ford Fusion and Chevrolet Volt, respectively.
