UP FOR AUCTION IS A 1988 CHEVY C10 PRO STREET. I'VE BEEN BUILDING THIS TRUCK FOR 2 YEARS NOW. IT IS 95 PERCENT DONE. IT WAS A 1 TON WHEN I STARTED. THE ONLY THINGS THAT NEED TO BE DONE IS, FUEL GAUGE HOOKED UP, SPEEDO CABLE, AC LINE, AND TWO DOOR WEATHER MOLDING FOR THE WINDOW. ALL NEW PAINT JOB WITH "HOUSE OF COLOR" TANGELO ORANGE.
I PUT A 1990 CHEVY FRONT CLIP ON IT. I PUT IN A REBUILT 454 WITH 4 BOLT MAIN WITH ROLLER ROCKERS, 488/510 CAM FROM JEGS WITH TORKER 2 INTAKE, 800 EDELBROCK CARB. REBUILT 400 TRANNY, WITH A B&M SHIFT KIT, WITH A 3,400 STALL. I PUT ALL NEW WELD RACING WHEELS AND TIRES. THE REAR TIRES ARE 33/18.50.15. ALL NEW EXHAUST SYSTEM, 3 INCH FLOW MASTER. I PUT A NARROWED 9 INCH WITH A FULL SPOOL 410 GEAR. THE REAR END SET UP WITH FOUR LINK SET WITH COIL OVERS. ALL NEW BRAKES, FRONT AND REAR. NEW WINDSHIELD. RUNS AND DRIVES GREAT!!!

2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra show all their sides in Detroit
Tue, 15 Jan 2013There could hardly be more riding on the next-generation General Motors full-size pickup trucks, so the automaker has wisely made sure to have a selection of different models on hand at the Detroit Auto Show to show off. The 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and 2014 GMC Sierra were both officially introduced last month at a stand-alone reveal, and now they'll be on display for the public to see in various body configurations and trim levels.
The Silverado LTZ Crew Cab and Sierra SLE Extended Cab are aimed at providing more of a high-end pickup experience, while the Silverado LT Z71 Extended Cab and Sierra SLT Z71 Crew Cab should have off-road fans scouting out their favorite trails. The crew cab trucks won't go into production until sometime during the second quarter of this year - with other bodystyles coming later in the year - but we have plenty of live images from Detroit for you to enjoy.
Chevy Corvette Stingray picks up another award, this time from Automobile
Mon, 18 Nov 2013The new Chevrolet Corvette Stingray has picked up another buff book accolade after capturing Road and Track's Performance Car of the Year award. The seventh-generation of America's sports car (sorry Viper, Mustang, et al.) has been named Automobile Magazine's Automobile of the Year.
Automobile's award to the Corvette over competitors is the mirror image of its rival Motor Trend, which named the Cadillac CTS its car of the year over the C7. The CTS was, according to the Automobile team, the closest contender to the mighty Stingray. Great news all around for General Motors it seems.
As for what pushed the Corvette past its distant, four-door cousin, Automobile commended its excellent, 6.2-liter V8 calling the car's performance "simply awesome" while also remarking that it is easier to drive fast than ever before thanks to steering and chassis tweaks. Following a theme set by other publications, there were also plaudits for the interior, of all things, with the buff book complimenting the car's ergonomics and material quality, while also praising the standard seats.
Chevy confirms Corvette Stingray Convertible for Geneva
Thu, 07 Feb 2013Want proof that General Motors has increased global ambitions for its 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray? It's staging the world premiere of the model's convertible variant at the Geneva Motor Show early next month.
As previously rumored, the droptop rendered above will debut at the Swiss show, making its first appearance anywhere on March 5. According to Susan Docherty, president and managing director of Chevrolet, the location makes sense because Corvette "...is an icon that has long been recognized and admired even in countries where it's never officially been offered."
While neither Chevrolet nor the Corvette has a major sales presence in Switzerland, the Bowtie's European headquarters is located in Zurich (about three hours to the northeast of Geneva) and GM has made it clear that it wants to build the Chevrolet brand up across Europe.
