up for sale is a 1987 Chevrolet r-10 pickup that has only 85k original miles this is one super nice local Winston salem nc truck. has the 305 engine and 700r4 tansmission overdrive and fuel injected engine that has been unmolested. the truck has had only one repaint and a very great paintjob as well all original sheet metal no rust. very clean undercarriage with no rust still has the original spare tire as well as the interior that is flawless for its age the seat and dash is super nice as well as headliner trim pieces not cracked and carpet. I cant tell the truck has ever had anything other than the paint job everything works the way it should including the factory cruise control and the power windows that goes up and down extremely well. the only couple major flaws I see the vehicle has the windshield has a crack in it on the drivers side. the grill on the front has a couple small cracknot even really noticible just 2 little ones and the door on the pass side could use a little adjusting as it is a little out of adjustment making it a little hard to shut. Chevy Corvette Stingray "colorizer" lets you chase the rainbow
Thu, 14 Feb 2013After you've convinced your better half to let you buy a new Corvette, then comes the hard part... actually figuring out which 'Vette you want. While Chevrolet has yet to release the official configurator for the 2014 Corvette Stingray, it did give us something else to kill some time playing around with.
The C7 Corvette "colorizer" recently went online, and it lets you look at the car in all of its available colors and wheel options from four different angles so that when this car does go on sale, you know exactly which one you want. It includes the Corvette's full pallet of colors including Torch Red, Laguna Blue and the hue you see above, Velocity Yellow. Toss in the black wheels, and we're sold. After a bright-yellow false start, here is the real thing: the fourth-generation, 2015 Corvette Z06. If Chevrolet makes a ZR1 version of the C7 Corvette, it's going to be absolutely mega, because the Z06 is just about everything we got in the last ZR1, but better.
C7 Corvette turbo with 1,000 horsepower promised from Hennessey
Mon, 25 Feb 2013If you can't wait for the next-generation Chevrolet Corvette ZR1, Hennessey says they will have you covered. The Texas-based company has announced it will offer a spate of upgrades for the 2014 Corvette ranging from a range of bolt-on options all the way up to a 1,000-horsepower, twin-turbo system. Buyers can start with a cold air intake, cat-back exhaust or stainless steel long-tube headers, but Hennessey says it will also offer up three stages of forced induction mayhem should those bits and baubles not provide enough thrust.
Those choices start with a supercharger system good for up to 700 hp, though Hennessey will gladly ditch the blower in favor of two turbos. Doing so will spin the crank to the tune of 800 horsepower all the way up to a certifiably ludicrous 1,000 ponies. There's no word on how much these tricks will cost you - or when they will be available, as we're guessing they haven't gotten their hands on the car yet - but you can head over to the Hennessey site to drop them a line if you're curious.
