For sale is my 1994 Chevrolet K2500 extended cab 4x4 6.5 diesel truck. Truck is in great shape and has been in storage for the last 2 1/2 years so now I'm cleaning out the garage and some things have to go. I have updated the PMD in the truck with a Dipaco Aftermarket GM PMD and remote mount cooler and a new harmonic balancer which seem to be the most problematic things that these trucks have. Truck also has new brakes including drums, rotors and pads and a new windshield (old one was cracked) at approx. 110,000 miles. Interior of truck is in great shape showing wear on only the drivers seat and arm rests. Truck runs and drives great and when I was driving it daily it was getting over 20 MPG. I bought the truck from an older gentleman and his wife that used it to pull a RV trailer and it had a little over 86,000 miles on it when I bought it so most are highway miles. It now has 138,000 miles and still running strong. I am the second owner of this truck and it has not been wrecked or damaged and has been maintained properly and has been taken care of you will have a hard time finding this quality of 20year old truck anywhere. I have the truck listed locally so auction may end early if sold here...thanks. |

Chevrolet Camaros at SEMA are a mobile accessory catalog
Wed, 06 Nov 2013Chevy's goal at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas this week seems to be to show as much of its Performance and Accessories catalog as possible. That's why it brought three different Camaros - two with V8s and one powered by a V6 - with all of the best goodies from the catalog already fitted.
We gave a more in-depth recap of the Performance Camaro V8 Concept, the Performance Camaro V6 Concept and the Performance Garage Concept already, but we figured you'd like a short recap for each. It should be noted, though, that you can order all of the items you see here for your own Camaro, so be sure to take a long, hard look at our live galleries, just in case you're in the market for some mods.
Essentially, the Performance Garage Concept and the Performance V8 Concept are the same car - the only difference is that the later features a whole host of aesthetic tweaks in addition to its aftermarket, shorty exhaust headers and 2.75-inch exhaust. (The Performance Garage Concept has been usefully placed on its side; the better to see the new parts added to the vehicle.) The Performance V6 Concept is notable because, despite being a V6, there's no shortage of performance goodies fitted. All three of the Performance Camaros benefit from items from the Camaro ZL1, which can also be ordered through the catalog.

Hot Wheels' Twitter-enabled vending machine coughs up free Camaro diecasts
Wed, 27 Feb 2013There are still plenty of companies that haven't gotten the whole social media thing down pat yet, but Hot Wheels isn't one of them. During the recent Canadian International Auto Show in Toronto, Hot Wheels created a lot of buzz for itself by using a vending machine filled with Chevrolet Camaro models, but instead of money to get the cars, show attendees just had to use Twitter.
To get the free car, people were asked to send a tweet to Hot Wheels Canada saying what they liked about the new Hot Wheels Edition Camaro, and including the #ChevyCIAS hashtag. This seemed to be a popular marketing tool, too, as AdWeek reports that the @HotWheelsCanada account more than tripled in followers during the course of the 10-day show. Looking ahead, this could open up even more innovative marketing possibilities using social media.
