This is a driver quality car that probably needs some TLC, it is not fully restored. Like most used cars of this age it has good and bad points about it.

1969 vintage Chevy 350 4 bolt block (NOM) overhauled with about 40K miles on it. 10 over on rods, mains, pistons, ect. Period correct intake, Q-jet carb, heads, brackets. HEI and new dual exhaust . Turbo 350 tranny, needs correct Turbo Hydramatic faceplate and shifter adjusted accordingly. Has the stronger 10-bolt 8.5” Nova rear end with 2.73 (BP code) cruising gears.  Was Big Block car with 3/8 fuel line W/return, heater-external hose connections, BBC front coil springs. Has Subframe connectors.  225/70/15 tires on 8” wide Corvette rally wheels all around, these wheels are too wide and too much reverse offset for the front of car, they rub on inner fenders while turning but are good trading stock.

Norwood CA Cowl tag shows 4th week of August ‘68 build, code 72 B was Hugger Orange with Black vinyl top, code 712 Black Deluxe Custom interior. Bucket seats not original are later highback style. Rear seat original with new 69 Camaro cover. Original Deluxe Door panels so-so. All windows roll up/down OK. Factory Soft-Ray tinted glass all around except windshield later modern tinted glass. Dash has woodgrain option and aftermarket replacement gauge cluster. 2-speed washer-wiper option. Functional Alpine stereo typical discount store garbage.

Car was in storage quite some time so it behooves the purchaser to prepare this car for roadworthy travel properly. My intentions were to build car with 2004 LQ9 Chevy Silverado engine and Tremec 6 speed tranny but time is running out for that happening. Please see my other listing for the 5.3L  engine and 6-speed offering.

On Jun-16-14 at 18:31:35 PDT, seller added the following information:

As i said there is the good and the bad.  The good is: BOTH Shoulder belts are hanging correctly up along headliner, usually these are stolen for use in hi-point resto cars.

Yes it is a TH350 it has the tranny pan with the RR corner a diagonal cut.
It has a 1.125" OD front sway bar instead of the usual spindly.685" stock one.
The floors appear to be repaired long ago with full length left and right floor halves installed kinda amateur but reel solid. i see an extra shifter hole? above the tranny tailshaft, i don't know what that is about...
The hood has a little nasty an old battle scar. see pix.
The rockers look reel solid side and bottom little magnet sticks like glue but the drivers side has a crease again an olld battle scar. The underside of the doors and trunk lid look good see pix. The doglegs in doorjam, pass side looks good drivers side one 3/8" rusty spot.
There are a pair of correct O/S rearview mirrors on the car.
The washer squirters are still there another item usually missing.

Pure Vision Design TT Camaro has 1,400 reasons to want it

Wed, 06 Nov 2013

We've talked about Pure Vision Design before, a California-based company that made waves at last year's SEMA show with its Martini-liveried, Indy-car-powered Ford Mustang. That same car later starred in a Petrolicious video we showed you just a few weeks back. The company's latest creation is a menacing car it calls the Pure Vision Design TT Camaro. Based on a 1972 model, this car shares the Martini Mustang's clean styling and obsession with details.
Unlike the Mustang, which draws its power from a mid-60s Lotus-Ford Indycar engine, the "TT" in this Camaro's name implies something far more potent. The Nelson Racing Engines 427-cubic-inch V8 has been fitted with a pair of turbochargers, with a claimed output of 1,400 horsepower. That's almost 1,000 more than the Martini Mustang.
A six-speed Magnum transmission dispatches that power to the ground, while Pirelli PZero tires are tasked with (somehow) trying to grip the road. Baer brakes hide behind those HRE rims, while JRI coilovers and HyperTech springs bless the Camaro with some degree of competency in the bends.

2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible is a Swiss hit

Mon, 04 Mar 2013

We've just received an early peek at the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible here at the Geneva Motor Show. General Motors was kind enough to let us attend the final dress-rehearsal for its press conference scheduled for tomorrow's opening media day, and we've come away with a good look at the droptop C7 in person.
In the metal, the new Corvette Convertible seems somehow less avant-garde than the Coupe, even in Z51 Performance Package guise. That's not necessarily a bad thing - more of an observation. That initial impression may be because the C7's new greenhouse is one of its most prominent departures from Corvettes past. While we didn't get to see the top erected, there's no rear side window in the stock images that Chevy has already released, suggesting the C7 convertible's profile will look a lot like its C6 predecessor. And with the new power tonneau cover in place, there are also no rear ducts that come as part of the Z51 package (they've been moved under the car).
As with its predecessor, the tonneau is a handsome double-bubble piece, and the body-color "waterfall" element into the cabin between the seats has made it to the new model as well. Thus, the overall look with the top down should be a bit more familiar to prior-gen C6 owners - if you're one of those put off by the C7's new shape, you'll probably appreciate the convertible bodystyle more than the coupe.

Why the Corvette's Performance Data Recorder can be illegal in some states

Fri, 26 Sep 2014

The Performance Data Recorder with Valet Mode available on the 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray seems like a fantastic tool for many owners. Whether they are taking 720p video while lapping the track in their new 'Vette, or just want to protect their purchase from inconsiderate joyriders, the system offers a lot of functionality in one package. However, one of the PDR's features might get buyers in trouble with the law, and it has nothing to do with recording some illicit high-speed driving on a favorite back road. The problem hinges on the various state laws concerning a person's right to privacy.
According to a letter posted by Jalopnik, Chevy dealers are asking 2015 Corvette owners not to use the Valet Mode portion of the PDR because it records audio in the cabin, in addition to performance specs. That's a problem because privacy laws vary from state to state with some requiring just one side's consent to tape sound and others requiring all parties to agree. According Jalopnik, 15 states mandate everyone's permission beforehand, but it's not clear whether these numbers are up to date. (Actually, the report varies, saying 13 states in some places and 15 in a list.)
According to the letter, Chevy is already working on a software update for the near future to rectify the issue. It's possible that simply adding a warning to drivers and the ability to turn off the audio recording function in Valet Mode might solve the problem. Obviously, this doesn't preclude Corvette drivers from using the performance aspect of the PDR, and owners are free tape lap after lap at the track.
