1969 - Chevrolet Camaro on 2040-cars
Fenn, Idaho, United States
You have been waiting, patiently I might add, for that perfect example of a pristine original 1969 Camaro and now your quest will be rewarded. What we have here is the car I always dreamed of, and believe me I have done a lot a dreaming about first gen Camaro. The paint is nearly pristine and there is NO mud in there anywhere. It has never been in an accident. The Doors do not sag, AT ALL, the gaps are perfect EVERYWHERE! There is NO trace of rust ANYWHERE! I even restored the complete interior and the inside floor pans look like they just rolled off the assembly line. No water has ever gotten to them. The body panels are laser strait and other than one small ding in the passengers front fender they are flawless. The doors shut like silk, the windows crank perfectly, the top opens and shuts like NEW. All the lights work, etc. etc. etc. An Awesome blend of well preserved Detroit hard work and know how blended with all the Modern touches and style to make it bridge the generations of car lovers everywhere. Let me break it all down for you. Body: Near flawless and completely rust free. Original, nearly everything, including bumpers, door edge gaurds, grill, etc and all in 9 out of 10 condition. Side Glass is all original and super nice with very minimal scratches. Lights all work, trim is excellent, no scratches in paint. Supercharged 2015 Chevy Corvette Z06 takes the C7 beyond the ZR1
Mon, 13 Jan 2014
The Z06 is just about everything we got in the last ZR1, but better.
After a bright-yellow false start, here is the real thing: the fourth-generation, 2015 Corvette Z06. If Chevrolet makes a ZR1 version of the C7 Corvette, it's going to be absolutely mega, because the Z06 is just about everything we got in the last ZR1, but better.

The story of the 2014 Chevrolet SS: "Luxury, power, refinement, handling"
Thu, 07 Mar 2013Not including the women and men who built it, the 2014 Chevrolet SS has only been seen in person by a piddling number of people - fewer humans than would fill the gymnasium at a high school volleyball game. Not including the men and women who built it, no one has driven it. Even so, it is already saddled with two controversies: the way it looks and the way it shifts.
First to that shifting. Did we love the last Americanized Holden, the awesomely sportsome Pontiac G8 GXP, and its six-speed manual? Of course. Do we wish the SS came with a six-speed manual? Of course. But we'd like a toboggan to come with a manual transmission. We'd put a manual transmission on a weasel if we could because we're just wired that way; if it moves, it should come with a stick and a clutch. Or at least the option.
Let's climb down off the ledge, though. We haven't driven the SS and we have no idea how good (or not) the automatic is. And the Hobson's Choice in transmissions when it comes to sport sedans like the BMW M5, Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG and Jaguar XFR-S and, oh yeah, cars-that-really-should-have-manuals like the Audi R8 and Nissan GT-R and Porsche 918 and every single Lamborghini and Ferrari, for instance, hasn't stopped us from enjoying what is clearly the gruesome, dual-clutched demise of Western automotive civilization. Because in spite of our ululations at the dying of the six-speed light, we understand.
