1985 Chevrolet Camaro IROC-Z. 305 TPI w/ Automatic.
I purchased the car from the original owner who absolutely babied it. They even kept a record book inside the car at all times, recording every stop for fuel w/ mileage, location and date. They also recored when they took it in and out of storage for the year. See the pictures for a look at the book. This is as nice as an IROC as you will find for the money. I had a professional appraisal done on the car which can be read in the pictures. The pictures do not hide anything. The underside of the car looks as if it has never seen a drop of rain. You can see a video of the car on YouTube by searching "1985 white IROC-Z Hudsonville". The car has every feature available for a 1985 IROC. The previous owner did change the rear axle to a 3:73 and installed a SLP exhaust system. The car has been regularly maintained through out the years and is in perfect mechanical shape. Interior is in excellent shape. The car does have a Alpine CD player that came with crazy speakers installed into aftermarket kick panels. This is your 2014 Chevrolet SS
Sat, 16 Feb 2013Think you've waited long enough for this? If so, then you'll want to savor the high-res photos we've so far been given of the 2014 Chevrolet SS, the first rear-wheel-drive performance sedan from The Bowtie in 17 years.
We all know its our version of the brand new VF-model Holden Commodore, but what's under the hood that earns the appellation "performance?" A 6.2-liter LS3 V8 engine producing 415 horsepower and 415 pound-feet of torque. That's 35 hp and lb-ft less than the same engine is expected to produce in the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette. Chevrolet says the sedan will get from 0-to-60 miles per hour "in about five seconds."
Shifting comes courtesy of a six-speed automatic with paddles on the steering wheel, while stopping arrive via four-piston Brembo calipers up front, a single sliding piston in back. The forged aluminum wheels are 19-inchers all around, each set supporting right around 50 percent of the sedan's weight, and the aluminum hood and trunk are meant to keep the center of gravity low.

For those of you still with us, the first race in the United SportsCar Championship (USCC) is done, but the discussions about it certainly won't end for a while. Daytona Prototypes claimed the first four overall places, the top spot taken by the No. 5 Action Express Coyote-Chevrolet Corvette DP driven by Joao Barbosa, Christian Fittipaldi, Sebastien Bourdain and Burt Friselle. The 16th and final caution of the race bunched the field up for an eight-minute sprint to the flag, so the first place getter finished just 1.4 seconds ahead of the No. 10 Wayne Taylor Racing Dallara-Chevrolet Corvette DP driven by Max Angelelli. Third place went to Brian Friselle in the No. 9 Action Express Chevrolet Corvette DP, 20 seconds down. Chevrolet power hasn't taken the overall win since 2003, eleven years later it scores a one-two-three-four. The No. 6 Muscle Milk/Pickett Racing ORECA-Nissan 03 scored fifth place, the top LMP2 finisher.
The Prototype Challenge class win went to the No. 54 CORE Autosport team of Colin Braun, Jon Bennett, Mark Wilkins and James Gue.
