SHE IS EQUIPPED WITH THE GROUP 3 OPTION PACKAGE. SOME OF THE FEATURES ARE: POWER WINDOWS, POWER LOCKS, POWER MIRRORS, POWER SEATS, POWER TRUNK, TILT, CRUISE, AND MORE. THIS CAR HAS BEEN WELL TAKEN CARE OF FOR A 24 YEAR OLD HOT ROD, BUT IS NOT IN PERFECT CONDITION. THOUGH IT'S DEFINATLY NOT ABUSED LIKE MOST CAMAROS OF THIS ERA WERE. THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT LOOKS EXCELLENT. YOU CAN TELL NOBODY HAS BEEN MESSING WITH IT, AND IT'S VERY CLEAN. THERE IS AN AFTERMARKET ALARM WITH KEYLESS ENTRY INSTALLED, AND LOOKS FACTORY. THE ORIGINAL RADIO WITH E.Q. IS INCLUDED IN THE TRUNK (CD PLAYER IN THE DASH). THE B.F. GOODRICH TIRES ARE IN GREAT SHAPE. I NEVER REGISTERED THIS CAR BECAUSE I WAS NOT PLANNING TO DRIVE IT. I WAS GOING TO PUT IT UP FOR WHEN THEY ARE SURE TO DRASTICLY RISE IN VALUE, BUT MY PLANS HAVE CHANGED. THE ORIGINAL BUILD SHEET IS INCLUDED ALONG WITH MANY INVOICES FOR ANY WORK OR MAINT. 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible is a Swiss hit
Mon, 04 Mar 2013We've just received an early peek at the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible here at the Geneva Motor Show. General Motors was kind enough to let us attend the final dress-rehearsal for its press conference scheduled for tomorrow's opening media day, and we've come away with a good look at the droptop C7 in person.
In the metal, the new Corvette Convertible seems somehow less avant-garde than the Coupe, even in Z51 Performance Package guise. That's not necessarily a bad thing - more of an observation. That initial impression may be because the C7's new greenhouse is one of its most prominent departures from Corvettes past. While we didn't get to see the top erected, there's no rear side window in the stock images that Chevy has already released, suggesting the C7 convertible's profile will look a lot like its C6 predecessor. And with the new power tonneau cover in place, there are also no rear ducts that come as part of the Z51 package (they've been moved under the car).
As with its predecessor, the tonneau is a handsome double-bubble piece, and the body-color "waterfall" element into the cabin between the seats has made it to the new model as well. Thus, the overall look with the top down should be a bit more familiar to prior-gen C6 owners - if you're one of those put off by the C7's new shape, you'll probably appreciate the convertible bodystyle more than the coupe.
GM recalling over 243,000 crossovers over possible seat belt defect

The summer of 2010's recall hit parade continues unabated today, with General Motors having just announced that it is asking 243,403 owners of its 2009-2010 Lambda crossovers to bring their three-row haulers in for inspection. The culprit? Second-row seat belts in select Buick Enclave, Chevrolet Traverse, GMC Acadia, and Saturn Outlook CUVs have "failed to perform properly in a crash."
According to GM, a second-row seat-side trim piece is to blame, as it can impede the upward rotation of the buckle after the seat is folded flat. As a result, if the buckle makes contact with the seat frame, cosmetic damage can occur, potentially requiring additional force to operate the buckle properly. So far, no great shakes, but in the process of applying that additional force, the occupant may push the buckle cover down to the strap, potentially revealing and depressing the red release button. As a result of this, the belt may not latch, or in certain cases, it may actually appear to be latched when, in fact, it isn't.
Chevy confirms Corvette Stingray Convertible for Geneva
Thu, 07 Feb 2013Want proof that General Motors has increased global ambitions for its 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray? It's staging the world premiere of the model's convertible variant at the Geneva Motor Show early next month.
As previously rumored, the droptop rendered above will debut at the Swiss show, making its first appearance anywhere on March 5. According to Susan Docherty, president and managing director of Chevrolet, the location makes sense because Corvette "...is an icon that has long been recognized and admired even in countries where it's never officially been offered."
While neither Chevrolet nor the Corvette has a major sales presence in Switzerland, the Bowtie's European headquarters is located in Zurich (about three hours to the northeast of Geneva) and GM has made it clear that it wants to build the Chevrolet brand up across Europe.
