1990 Chevy Iroc Convertible Rare Red Leather on 2040-cars
Kendallville, Indiana, United States
This is a really nice hard to find one of only 1200 and some ever made 90 IROC Convertibles are rare and the second lowest production IROC's built. I believe this is the highest dollar option 3 IROC you could have bought that year plus it has factory red leather seats. Super nice condition over all. Great paint new decals nice engine and exhaust modifications. full SLP exhaust, Bilestein Shocks. The car sounds and drives out great. Nice collectable car. There are a few chips on the nose like most have but the rest if the car is very nice. No rust anywhere stored winters not drive in the winter or rain. Interior is very nice as well with some wear on the driver seat but the rest if the interior is nice with competition shifter. Many new parts as well such as exhaust, brakes and I believe the injectors were done as well. I have a decent amount of receipts that go with the car. These cars are starting to come on strong as highly collectable. If questions please call or email. My number is 260-582-9296. I am going to see what the car goes up to. I see some of these selling in the 20k range but I am lower than that so feel free to make me an offer if you are serious and have the cash.
Car is being sold as is no warranties but you can drive this car anywhere. Payment is 500.00 down due in 24 hours and the rest due in person with cash or wired funds within 5 days. Please only bid if you are serious and have the funds available. |

GM applies for LT5, LTX trademarks... are new small block variants coming?
Mon, 29 Apr 2013Recently discovered General Motors trademark applications for LT4, LT5, LT88 and LTX have observers wondering what kind of high-performance offerings could be on their way. A new LT4 would mark a return of the engine designation first used on the Corvette Grand Sport, SLP Pontiac Firehawk and SLP Chevrolet Camaro SS from 1996 and 1997. Supposition at Corvette Forum - which provided advance intel on the C7 like these leaked images - believes a new LT4 could go into the high-performance trim of the next-gen, 2015 Camaro that would be more powerful than the 580-horsepower Camaro ZL1.
Seeing an LT5 again would also be déjà vu - in its former life it was a 5.7-liter V8 for the C4 Corvette ZR-1 from 1990-1994 designed by Lotus, producing from 370 hp to 405 hp. A mix of rumor and hope is that the new LT5 will be a supercharged evolution of the 6.2-liter LT1 (pictured) placed in the new C7 Corvette, and that it will go into the C7 version of the ZR1 pumping out something like 700 hp.
The LTX trademark is, as with that last letter, a complete mystery. If the "X" isn't a generic way to denote the whole LT family, it's wondered if it LTX could refer to a crate motor offering like the LSX.
"Turbo" Chevrolet Camaro is a 700-HP fantasy car come to life [w/video]
Thu, 07 Feb 2013For a concept car built to promote an animated movie about a snail that wants to go racing, this thing ain't half bad. The outsized monster you see before you started life as a Chevrolet Camaro ZL1, and then went through a big-time Hollywood makeover before being positioned on the Chevrolet stand here in Chicago.
This 2013 "Turbo" Camaro Coupe is getting the promotion machine ratcheted up for a new DreamWorks tale by the name of, you guessed it, Turbo. Coming this summer, the movie will follow one snail's quest to become a race driver worthy of making the cut at the Indy 500. Like many DreamWorks vehicles before it, we're guessing that the petrolhead snail will star in a movie that adults (especially racing fans) with have no trouble watching with their kids. Check out the trailer below to see if you agree.
As for the car, we're told that it is "instrumental" in transforming Turbo from snail into racer. Helping the beastly pony car in this mighty task, is an ankle-cracking front splitter matched by a ungodly huge rear wing out back, a COPO hood and a supercharged (yes, supercharged) V8 engine making more than 700 horsepower. 24-inch wheels all the way around - 10-inches wide in front and 15-inches wide in back - should allow the "Turbo" Camaro to hook up with ease, as well.
