1992 Chevrolet Camaro Rs Coupe 2-door 5.0l on 2040-cars
Gainesville, Texas, United States
You'll have a difficult time finding one as mechanically well-maintained and cosmetically as nice as this one. Everything works on this car from the underhood light to the rear deck motor. All Original - bone stock - number matching. Even still has the original rear deck privacy shade! I'm the second owner and its been in my possession for the past 17 years. All the normal wear and tear items have been replaced for a car this age. Battery, belts, hoses, tires, brakes, wiper blades, headliner, etc.. Water pump, alternator, tires, clutch, pressure plate and bearing have been replaced in the past 25K miles. No other major mechanical work have been done. Car have never been involved in any accident or collision (except for that one time in the garage with the riding mower that cracked the rear taillight). The bucket seats are covered with black covers to protect the original seats as I drive this car weekly. Condition of the seats are excellent with the exception of a small wear tear on drivers side. And its the fun one to drive. 5.0L with 5 speed manual. And gets 29mpg on highway using premium fuel. Additional photos can be taken of anything you inquire about. |

Chevy Camaro is a good sport, wishes Ford Mustang Happy 50th
Tue, 15 Apr 2014It was 1966 when Chevrolet launched its challenger to the wildly successful Ford Mustang, the Camaro. While the competition between the two brands was already healthy, the arrival of the Camaro set off one of the most intense, model-to-model rivalries in the industry.
That competitive spirit hasn't stopped Chevy and the Camaro from wishing Ford's iconic muscle car a Happy 50th Birthday as the Ford's April 17 anniversary rolls around. These two cars have been linked over the years, and while the rivalry took a break for a few years in the 2000s, today's competition between the Camaro and Mustang is as fierce as it's ever been.
You might recall that this friendliness when it comes to major milestones isn't too rare. Ford put on quite a display for General Motors' hundredth anniversary back in 2008. As the Camaro's fiftieth birthday approaches in 2016, we wouldn't be surprised to see the Mustang sending its best wishes to its Bowtie rival.
Chevy SS prototype spotted wearing Pontiac G8 clothes
Tue, 28 Aug 2012
Do not adjust your computer screen, you are not seeing the rebirth of the Pontiac brand. General Motors has chosen to use a G8 to disguise a test mule for the latest prototype of the forthcoming Chevrolet SS. The G8 was closely related to the Holden Commodore and Vauxhall VXR, the platform upon which the new Chevrolet performance model will be based. It should come as little surprise, then, that GM has opted to use the cladding from the former G8.
Thought the front clip of this mule is pure Pontiac, note the vents immediately behind the front wheel. That is a distinctive design hallmark of the Vauxhall VXR. Also note that this vehicle is right-hand drive, as the Holden and its Chevy counterpart will be very closely related. That likely includes potential drivetrains. The spy photos of this mule also reveal very wide rear tires, and rear wheels that do not match the fronts.
Survey says $25k barrier is a problem for EVs
Sun, 01 Dec 2013
The majority of consumers are more or less priced out of the market.
Electric cars are gaining popularity with the general public, but are they still too expensive? According to a survey 1,084 consumers by Navigant Research, a consulting firm located in Boulder, CO, 71 percent want their next car to cost under $25,000, while 41 percent won't go a cent above $20K. Looks like people are even thriftier than we'd originally thought.
