For sale is a 1973 Camaro body with a parts car body. The primered car has an excellent body and the parts car could be repaired bet does have a good bit of rust. I have a decent fiberglass cowl hood and a rough flat hood. Only have one drivers seat and no passenger seats. I have a green dash and a black dash. The floor pans and trunk pans are in great shape, and the quarters are in great shape too. I do not have a title for the primered car but do have one for the parts car. Feel free to set up a time to inspect the cars for yourself. I can add more pics if you need to see something specific. Call or email with questions to 828-223-0866. The car is for sale locally and I reserve the right to end the auction at any time. Only bid if you are serious about buying the cars, ebay charges me once someone has won the auction. I will try to get pics of the parts car and post tomorrow, it is at a friends house. There is not much left of it. The primered car has been in a building or a basement for the last 10 years out of the weather.

Why does the Corvette Stingray have so many vents? Here's why
Sun, 27 Jan 2013Just looking at the new 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, it's not hard to see that the car's design was created with aerodynamics at the forefront, but Chevrolet designers point out exactly what went into designing the iconic coupe in a pair of recently released videos. The videos show the Corvette going through early design phases, including clay models and wind tunnel tests, as well as talking to the car's chief engineer, Tadge Juechter.
Both videos help explain various aspects of the C7 Corvette, but it's the aero tuning of the car that is most interesting. This includes extra attention paid to the lower air dam and vented hood to help reduce drag and lift, while the rear quarter inlets are for differential and transmission cooling. Juechter said that some of these aero-tuned elements were inspired from GM's involvement in racing.

Sat, 16 Feb 2013Think you've waited long enough for this? If so, then you'll want to savor the high-res photos we've so far been given of the 2014 Chevrolet SS, the first rear-wheel-drive performance sedan from The Bowtie in 17 years.
We all know its our version of the brand new VF-model Holden Commodore, but what's under the hood that earns the appellation "performance?" A 6.2-liter LS3 V8 engine producing 415 horsepower and 415 pound-feet of torque. That's 35 hp and lb-ft less than the same engine is expected to produce in the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette. Chevrolet says the sedan will get from 0-to-60 miles per hour "in about five seconds."
Shifting comes courtesy of a six-speed automatic with paddles on the steering wheel, while stopping arrive via four-piston Brembo calipers up front, a single sliding piston in back. The forged aluminum wheels are 19-inchers all around, each set supporting right around 50 percent of the sedan's weight, and the aluminum hood and trunk are meant to keep the center of gravity low.
