2002 - Chevrolet Camaro on 2040-cars
Zephyrhills, Florida, United States
Summer is Coming!!! 2002 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 Convertible. This is the 35th Anniversary Edition which includes an all-aluminum 5.7L V8 LS-1 Corvette engine. White exterior/top and black leather interior. Automatic, ice cold AC, cruise, power convertible top, power windows, power door locks, power mirrors, power driver side seat, power trunk release. The original owner installed Flowmaster exhaust and I added C&N Cold Air Induction. I just added new headlights assemblies. I still have the old ones. I had them professionally wetsanded but they were still not brilliantly clear so I bought new ones.....the old ones are available. I also have seat covers that have been on there for a few years now to protect the leather seats which are in very good shape with the exception of the driver seat base that has some cracking. I also have a car cover. I just checked the MPG and I went 60 miles on the freeway on 2.42 gallons. That's 24.9 MPG!! This is a two-owner car that was purchased in Florida and has been here ever since. Never seen snow or ice or SALT!! It's an enormously capable car....the speedometer goes to 155 but I've never seen anything over about 110. It runs at 2000 rpms at 80 mph. Lots of fun to drive. Looks great and sounds AWESOME. The sound is what got me to buy it. And that you NEVER see another car just like it....try that with a mustang gt. I may be available to deliver the car on it's wheels for the price of gas.

Ford, Toyota clean up in Best Car For The Money Awards
Fri, 22 Feb 2013The U.S. News Best Cars for the Money Awards picks winners by looking at the average transaction price, five-year total cost of ownership, the regard a car has from the automotive press, reliability figures from J.D. Power and Associates and safety data from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. The result, according to the magazine, is "the best combination of critical acclaim and long-term value."
Ford nabbed six of the 21 categories that received awards this year, the Focus, Fusion, Fusion Hybrid, Taurus, Escape and Edge getting trophies. Toyota and its Lexus and Scion sub-brands took another five, the Tacoma and Tundra owning the two categories given to pickup trucks. The other ten awards were split between Honda with three, Buick with two, and one each for Subaru, BMW, Hyundai, Chevrolet and Mazda.

Man surprises girlfriend with C7 Corvette
Mon, 07 Oct 2013How would you react if someone just showed up at your place of work with a new, 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, complete with all the trimmings? While a lot of us would likely be flipping out over the still rare sports car, it's a fair bet many more of us would be responding like Pattie here, whose boyfriend stopped by her work to show her her new C7.
Speechless and shocked as she seems, she does end up taking it out for a drive, despite claiming she wasn't really outfitted to handle the car's seven-speed manual transmission at the time. From the sound of the video, we got the impression that she knew the car was coming, just not that it was anywhere near ready for delivery. It also, as Pattie says, seems like her boyfriend is more excited about the car than she (which, can we blame him?). Take a look down below for the full video of this C7 Stingray delivery.
Chevrolet Captiva looks mildly refreshed and ready for family duty
Tue, 05 Mar 2013We showed you Chevrolet's major debut yesterday, the 2014 Corvette Stingray Convertible, but General Motors is making a big push for Bowtie consideration in Europe, so it's also introducing the updated Captiva crossover here at the Geneva Motor Show.
While still based on the same platform as North America's fleet-only Captiva Sport (which is effectively a rebadged Saturn Vue), the Captiva is available in both five- and seven-seat iterations, and it looks far more modern. That's particularly the case with this updated model, which features revamped front- and rear ends that include restyled bumpers, grilles and LED taillamps, among other changes.
As before, the midsize Theta-platform CUV will be available in both front- and all-wheel drive, and is expected to carry a range of four- and six-cylinder gasoline and diesel engines. Important US programming note: Chevrolet sources tell us that America's Captiva Sport will not receive these updates.
