Up for Auction is a beautiful 69 Camaro Tribute Z/28. The car was restored a few years back and was totally torn down to restore with new weather seals all around, paint job is a Electric Blue with the Pearl White stripes, all new emblems, new interior complete, new brake system, new fuel lines, new shocks front and rear with air shocks on the rear, new complete front fenders and hood, new bumpers and grill, new leaf springs and seals, pretty much everything on this car is new. The floor boards was replaced front and rear, new 2 1/2 exhaust system that sounds awesome, she runs great. I have not took it on a long trip as of yet just little runs through out town but have not had any problems. The engine came out of a 1967 Z/28 and was told it is from the original Z/28 Camaro, the heads matches from the Z/28 with casting numbers 3917291 dated F 28 67 which is June 28, 1967, the block is a 4 bolt main casting 3970010. The intake is a Offenhauser Aluminum High Rise with a 650 electronic Edelbrok, The engine is bored .30 over with molly steel rings, steel crank, a Lunati cam 490 lift matching lifters that rattles great with a awesome chop. New Headers, 350 Turbo Transmission with a shift Kit. She looks great and sounds great going down the road. The 20 inch z/28 chrome wheels do not come with the car. Camaro Rally Wheels 15inch will replace the chrome wheels. The car is an AC car but the system was taken out during restoration simply because we forgot to put the AC Box back in when the fenders were off and before painting. Sorry! All the AC components will come with the car but will be up to the new owner to install if they choose too. The only part missing is the Compressor. The car has little minor adjustment that I am still doing such as Emergency Brake cable hook up, sun visor installment but overall she is in great shape. Please call 912-492-1314 or send your question before bidding, this is a great machine a true American Muscle car. If your close by Stop in and take a look and a quick ride, you will not be disappointed.

GM recalling 250,000 SUVs over door electronics
Mon, 20 Aug 2012After a door-fire investigation that dates back to February, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has officially announced a recall today that affects around 250,000 General Motors SUVs for a faulty driver's door module. The recall applies to the Buick Rainier, Chevrolet Trailblazer, GMC Envoy, Isuzu Ascender and Saab 9-7X from the 2006 and 2007 model years, as well as the 2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer EXT and GMC Envoy XL for vehicles sold and/or registered in the Snow Belt.
Road salt use in these midwestern and northern states can lead to corrosion of the driver's door module on these GMT360 and GMT370 vehicles, which allows water to come in contact with the circuit board. If shorted out, the vehicle's power door locks and power windows will not work, and could possibly lead to overheating and, in some circumstances, a fire. No official word on how many total vehicles caught on fire, but back in June, 28 fires had been reported to the government agency. A fix for the problem is still being worked out, but all affected vehicle owners will be notified by GM.

Chevrolet Malibu gets across-the-board price cuts, hopes to dig out of slump
Mon, 11 Feb 2013To say that things aren't going well for the newly redesigned 2013 Chevrolet Malibu is a pretty sizable understatement. Reports have been swirling about the Malibu getting an emergency design refresh, less than a year after its introduction, as well as having its production at the Fairfax Assembly Plant halted twice already this year for excessive inventory. Now, Motor Trend is reporting that the midsize sedan will be receiving price drops across the board ranging from $300 on a number of models up to $770 on the 1LT trim; offsetting some of MSRP drop, though, the destination charge has increased from $760 to $810.
Without destination, the entry-level Malibu LS now starts at $21,995, which is still about $300 more than a Honda Accord and about $300 less than the segment's top-selling Toyota Camry. This new pricing also drops the price of the Eco, 2LT and 3LT trims by $300. The LTZ trim has dropped by $415, meaning that the Malibu's top dog now starts at just under $30,000, excluding destination.
Here are the new starting prices for all eight of the Malibu trim levels compared to the previous prices for the 2013 model year (including destination):
Why the Corvette is Chevrolet's billion-dollar baby
Thu, 28 Feb 2013Edmunds has worked up a piece that tries to figure out just how much the global Chevrolet Corvette economy is worth, a spitballed guesstimate putting the number at more than $2.5 billion with the proviso that the number is probably low. It starts by taking Corvette's new car sales of 14,132 units last year, which would equate to $714,725,900 (including destination) assuming ever car sold was a base coupe with no options. In the final tally, a little extra padding gets that number up to $750,000,000.
But that's not all. Consider this: Many of the almost 1.4 million Corvettes produced over the model's history are still on the road. There are new parts being produced and aftermarket companies like Mid-America Motorworks deaing business, that single Illinois company doing more than $40 million a year in sales. There are the Corvette events large and small, restorers who do nothing but Corvettes, salvage yards that deal only in used Corvette parts and the Corvette magazines where owners find all this stuff.
And then there are the Corvette-themed tchotchkes, every single one of which provides a tiny contribution to the huge licensing royalties that General Motors collects every year. The article admits there's no way to come to an accurate number, but it just goes to show how valuable one specific model can be to a company.
