1999 Chevrolet Cavalier Ls Sedan 4-door 2.2l Low Mileage! on 2040-cars
Norcross, Georgia, United States
This 1999 Chevy Cavalier is a two owner vehicle. Looks, runs and drives great. Vehicle has 31,600 original miles which is why it is in such good shape. Original owner put about 21,000 miles on it in 12 years. Second owner has put about 10,000 miles on. Interior and carpet is clean with hardly any visible wear and tear. Exterior paint is in good condition, but there are minor nicks and scratches. It could use a good polishing and waxing. Three things wrong with the car: 1) the driver's side sun visor cover is torn. This could easily be repaired with some adhesive contact felt sold at Wal-Mart. 2) The dash has two cracks in the upper portion, but does not really look that bad. 3) There are some spots on the front bumper where the paint is gone, but it is in the area her the front license plate cover goes. Tires are in good shape with plenty of tread left. Everything on the car works. Has a 2.2 liters I-4 motor, automatic shift, Driver passenger airbags, front disk brakes, cold AC, power windows and doors, keyless entry and keyless trunk, original spare, tilt steering wheel, rear defroster, AM/FM Cassette, Overall this is a solid car with bang for the buck and a great choice for inexpensive transportation or that first car. Car is available for inspection in Norcross, Georgia 30093. Sold As Is. Buyer must pick up vehicle.

GM recalling nearly 4,000 vehicles over airbag concerns
Thu, 31 Jan 2013Four different General Motors vehicles from the 2012 model year are being recalled over a potential airbag issue. The driver's side airbag shorting bar in the 2012 Buick Verano and 2012 Chevrolet Camaro, Cruze and Sonic might make contact with the airbag terminals, even during a crash. If so, the airbag won't deploy when it should, possibly increasing injury to the driver.
The recall is expected to begin on February 13 for the 3,896 units that might be affected. GM will notify owners who can then take their vehicles to dealers to have the airbag coil replaced. A bulletin from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration below has more info.
Was the C7 Corvette cut from Beyonce's Super Bowl halftime show?
Tue, 05 Feb 2013Someone was bound to receive a free 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray during the Super Bowl XLVII festivities; it just wasn't who we thought it was going to be. Despite a report back in December that superstar Beyoncé Knowles would be getting an all-new Corvette during her halftime performance, that turned out not to be the case. Joe Flacco, starting quarterback for the Baltimore Ravens, did in fact win a Corvette for his MVP performance.
So what transpired that prevented Beyoncé from rolling on stage in the new Chevrolet? Anyone who knows isn't telling, but according to Yahoo! Autos, General Motors said that for one reason or another a deal "did not work out," and it appears to have been an eleventh-hour change. Regardless of who's to blame or what prevented this from happening, we're sure Chevy has had no problems getting attention for the C7 Corvette since it was introduced last month.
Watch the live reveal of the 2014 Chevy Silverado and GMC Sierra [UPDATE]
Thu, 13 Dec 2012UPDATE: The trucks have been revealed. Click here for all of the official details.
As promised, Chevrolet and GMC are offering a live webcast of the world premiere for the all-new 2014 Silverado 1500 and Sierra 1500. After being teased with spy shots and blurry images like the one above for ages, now is the time to see the trucks in the metal, for real (well, as 'real' as it gets on a webcast, at any rate).
Shift your eyes down just below to see the reveal as it happens, starting at 9:30 AM EST. We anticipate having loads of images full technical information to share after the webcast, too, so truck aficionados should stay tuned. We'll also be bringing you live images of both trucks too, when we see them on the show floor at next month's Detroit Auto Show.
