Up for sale is a 1966 Chevelle 300 Deluxe 2 door post coupe. I bought this Chevelle with the intention to make it into a classic 396 4 speed combo sleeper, however other projects take priority at this point.
The 300 Deluxe cars have considerably smaller productions numbers then the Malibu and non post cars, which I liked.

I bought it with no drive train and have since put in a mild 355 sbc with edelbrock performer intake/carb, mild comp cam, HEI, ceramic headers and full flowmaster exhaust. The trans is a built TH350 with B&M internals and B&M converter and trans cooler. The rear end is a 10 bolt posi with 3:55 gears and YUKON axles. Also a new aluminum radiator, 4 wheel drum brakes (I will include a wilwood front disc brake kit that needs to be rebuilt), power steering (not connected as I'm still trying to get the correct brackets for a V8, came with 6cly brackets).

Frame is solid, partial floor boards and trunk pan have typical rust, pass 1/4 panel needs to be pushed out, interior needs to be redone but is complete, no radio. All the glass is intact. All moldings are there
except the front driver side fender. Front grill and bezels are very nice, bumpers are nice.

Wheels are real 15x8 chevy rallies with flat caps, tires are older 245 60 15 all around (I can also include the stock 14inch wheels with police dog dish caps)

Clean title in my name, no back fees due (it is non op registered), has both original black California plates.

That's about it, this chevelle will make a killer ride and I have seen the 396 4speed set up cars fetch 20k when done.

Please ask any questions, I can help organize shipping at your cost.

Pure Vision Design TT Camaro has 1,400 reasons to want it

Wed, 06 Nov 2013

We've talked about Pure Vision Design before, a California-based company that made waves at last year's SEMA show with its Martini-liveried, Indy-car-powered Ford Mustang. That same car later starred in a Petrolicious video we showed you just a few weeks back. The company's latest creation is a menacing car it calls the Pure Vision Design TT Camaro. Based on a 1972 model, this car shares the Martini Mustang's clean styling and obsession with details.
Unlike the Mustang, which draws its power from a mid-60s Lotus-Ford Indycar engine, the "TT" in this Camaro's name implies something far more potent. The Nelson Racing Engines 427-cubic-inch V8 has been fitted with a pair of turbochargers, with a claimed output of 1,400 horsepower. That's almost 1,000 more than the Martini Mustang.
A six-speed Magnum transmission dispatches that power to the ground, while Pirelli PZero tires are tasked with (somehow) trying to grip the road. Baer brakes hide behind those HRE rims, while JRI coilovers and HyperTech springs bless the Camaro with some degree of competency in the bends.

Callaway debuts its new C7 Stingray at National Corvette Museum

Fri, 02 May 2014

Callaway showed off its first tuned version of the 2014 Corvette Stingray at the National Corvette Museum last week, giving the rampant enthusiasts of America's sports car a look at the roughly 620-horsepower, supercharged rocket.
Unlike the Corvette SC610 we showed you back in January, this Stingray packs a fair bit more oomph. Horsepower is only up ten ponies, but torque has jumped from 556 pound-feet to "at least" 600 pound-feet. Neither horsepower nor torque is official quite yet, although Callaway is expecting to know just what its creation can do once testing and validation is completed later this month.
The 6.2-liter, supercharged V8 now boasts a new, three-element intercooler, which Callaway claims only allowed the inlet air temperature to increase by ten degrees Fahrenheit during dyno runs. Previous designs saw a 35-degree-Fahrenheit jump. The exhaust system has also been fettled with, and now is even less restrictive.

New Bright creating exclusive 1:8 scale radio-controlled C7 Corvette

Mon, 04 Feb 2013

If you want a new 2014 Chevrolet Corvette but can't quite save up enough pennies for the monthly payment, we have good news for you. Toymaker New Bright has pulled the covers off of its 1:8 scale remote-controlled version of the American sports car. Complete with a very detailed interior and LED headlights, this large-scale R/C is as close as most of us will ever come to having one of the menacing Chevrolet models to call our very own. New Bright still hasn't released pricing or availability, but word has it the coupe should hit the market soon.
Right now, it appears as if the C7 will hit shelves in Torch Red, though we don't know if other colors are planned as well. The good news is that New Bright isn't exactly turning its back on the old C6 - representatives say the company will continue to make its popular C6R racecar for those who prefer round taillights.
