Selling 1969 Chevelle that is in very good shape. It is a roller and not completely together. There is no rust or bondo on the body of the car and it will make a great builder. There is a little rust through in the drivers floor, but have pan to fix it that comes with car. Do have all interior and exterior SS trim and parts except for the front bench. Car did come with front bench seat and powerglide trans, both of which are not there. Car comes with 1969 390hp 427 with fresh 30over bore. Crank is there & 6 std. bore pistons and rods. Set of ovalport heads are also with motor. Does have some kind of a 400 race trans that I really know nothing about. Pictures of detail-trim plate are also in pics. Cannot believe this is not a SS car the way it is set up, and all the trim. I was told there is no way to be sure without the build sheet which I do not have. Can not go wrong on this car with the condition it is in. They don't build them any more. Will do my best to answer any questions that you might have, and if need more pics of certain area just let me know. Contact me at 918 256 5231 or 918 244 3333 or ebay.

GM 6.2L V8 claims most powerful light-duty truck engine title
Thu, 12 Sep 2013General Motors has officially captured the horsepower crown for mainstream pickup trucks with its 6.2-liter V8. The big mill, available in both the Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra, comes to market with 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque, handily outdoing its two cross-town competitors, Ram (5.7-liter V8, 395 ponies and 407 lb-ft) and Ford (6.2-liter V8, 411 hp and 434 lb-ft).
The new GM 6.2 will take a bit of an investment, though. Those that want the extra thrust will need to go with either the LTZ or High Country trims from the Chevy, or the SLT and Denali trims from GMC, which are the two highest trim levels for the respective vehicles. Trim levels aside, if you're in the business of towing, GM has you covered. Optioned with the 6.2-liter V8 and the Max Trailering Package, owners will be able to pull 12,000 pounds, a hugely impressive figure.
We still aren't certain as to what sort of economy the new engine will get, but it'll probably be a bad bet for the fuel conscious. As for availability, expect to see the 6.2-liter trucks in showrooms later in the fall.

Callaway debuts its new C7 Stingray at National Corvette Museum
Fri, 02 May 2014Callaway showed off its first tuned version of the 2014 Corvette Stingray at the National Corvette Museum last week, giving the rampant enthusiasts of America's sports car a look at the roughly 620-horsepower, supercharged rocket.
Unlike the Corvette SC610 we showed you back in January, this Stingray packs a fair bit more oomph. Horsepower is only up ten ponies, but torque has jumped from 556 pound-feet to "at least" 600 pound-feet. Neither horsepower nor torque is official quite yet, although Callaway is expecting to know just what its creation can do once testing and validation is completed later this month.
The 6.2-liter, supercharged V8 now boasts a new, three-element intercooler, which Callaway claims only allowed the inlet air temperature to increase by ten degrees Fahrenheit during dyno runs. Previous designs saw a 35-degree-Fahrenheit jump. The exhaust system has also been fettled with, and now is even less restrictive.
