                                  1969 CHEVELLE CONVERTIBLE PROJECT

This is a 1969 Chevelle Convertible that I purchased around 8 years from Arizonia. I completely restored the car into a Resto-Mod. Car was stripped down to complete metal and painted LeMans Blue, I had a custom made Stay Fast top with matching well-liner, Bumpers rechromed, all new weatherstripping, I installed a Covan intrustment dash with UltraLite Gauges, all new Saddlewood interior that was custom made by PUI, 18in Coys on the front and 20in Coys on the rear with new tires, new exhaust, Purchased a Vintage Air that was never installed, all new moldings, Car has Power Windows, Power Steering, Tilt, Power Top, Power Disc Brakes, New Be Cool Aluminum Radiator. New Carpet, New Windshield. I installed a new 468 with a 700R, Car ran great and my wife drove it for around 1000 miles and quit driving it beause she had hurt her back, so we sat the car up untill last year when I decided to pull the 468 and 700R out. I then purchased a LS3 with a 6L80 to do a new drivetrain swap. I took the car completely apart, then it went to the bodyshop where the transmission tunnel was cut out because of the large transmission, a donor G8 was located and the transmission tunnel was installed, turned out really nice that I decided to keep the G8 console so I could have rear air, A new GM wiring harness was bought and modified to control the 6L80 trans, a new FI Gas tank with the pump in it, new fuel line that hasnt been installed. after all the mock up was done the car was repainted again to the same LeMans Blue, Paint is super nice. Motor and transmission is sitting in car along with the wiring harness, Car doesnt need much to be back complete. I bought some 2006 GTO Power Seats that are red and need to be recovered in the Sandlewood to match the interior, the seats have had brackets made so they will sit in there correctly. The paint job and transmission tunnel cost close to 7500 to do and the drivetrain and harness was another 11000.
I am not interested in any trades. This is a very nice car that will be fun when completed. Car is just needs to be put back together.

I reserve the right to cancel the auction at anytime due to reasonable offers and car is for sale locally.

The Camaro is for sale as well

2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra show all their sides in Detroit

Tue, 15 Jan 2013

There could hardly be more riding on the next-generation General Motors full-size pickup trucks, so the automaker has wisely made sure to have a selection of different models on hand at the Detroit Auto Show to show off. The 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and 2014 GMC Sierra were both officially introduced last month at a stand-alone reveal, and now they'll be on display for the public to see in various body configurations and trim levels.
The Silverado LTZ Crew Cab and Sierra SLE Extended Cab are aimed at providing more of a high-end pickup experience, while the Silverado LT Z71 Extended Cab and Sierra SLT Z71 Crew Cab should have off-road fans scouting out their favorite trails. The crew cab trucks won't go into production until sometime during the second quarter of this year - with other bodystyles coming later in the year - but we have plenty of live images from Detroit for you to enjoy.

Chevy Corvette Stingray "colorizer" lets you chase the rainbow

Thu, 14 Feb 2013

After you've convinced your better half to let you buy a new Corvette, then comes the hard part... actually figuring out which 'Vette you want. While Chevrolet has yet to release the official configurator for the 2014 Corvette Stingray, it did give us something else to kill some time playing around with.
The C7 Corvette "colorizer" recently went online, and it lets you look at the car in all of its available colors and wheel options from four different angles so that when this car does go on sale, you know exactly which one you want. It includes the Corvette's full pallet of colors including Torch Red, Laguna Blue and the hue you see above, Velocity Yellow. Toss in the black wheels, and we're sold. If you have some time this afternoon, be sure to check it out the Corvette colorizer for yourself, and even if you don't have the time, we've put together a gallery with all of the possible color combinations.

2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray priced from $51,995*

Fri, 26 Apr 2013

After months of speculation, Chevrolet has finally revealed the official starting price of the 2014 Corvette Stingray. The base MSRP for the 450-horsepower Stingray Coupe will be $51,995, while the Stingray Convertible will go for $56,995 (*both prices include a $995 destination fee). This means that the price increase from 2013 to 2014 is just $1,400 for the coupe and $2,395 for the convertible - pretty modest increases considering the upgrade in specifications. Of course, neither price accounts for the sort of dealer markup that might grace early C7 window stickers, especially since less than a third of all Chevrolet dealers will be allocated Corvette models to sell at the car's launch.
Now, these prices are for the base car, so if you're wondering how much a fully loaded Stingray will run, Chevy has given us a good indication of that as well. The coupe we saw on display at the Detroit Auto Show (shown above), for example, would run $73,360 including options such as the $2,800 Z51 Performance Package, $2,495 competition sport seats and the $1,795 Magnetic Ride Control option - just to name a few. Stepping up to the 3LT trim level that brings a full leather interior will run an extra $8,005 over the base price.
While $20,000 in options may seem like a lot, this "as-tested" price still has the C7 competitively priced against rival coupes like the Porsche 911 and Nissan GT-R. Speaking of price comparisons, Chevrolet also points out that the C7 Stingray Z51 costs $2,200 less than the C6 Grand Sport while delivering better acceleration (0-60 mph in less than four seconds) and improved track performance (including more than 1 g in cornering).
