Here is a great looking 1972 Chevelle Malibu being sold at no reserve! This car has a rebuilt 350 V-8 engine with less than 3,000 miles. It has double hump heads, TH350 automatic transmission with a 2500 stall converter, and 10 bolt rear end with a 3.08 gear. This is a factory air conditioned and power steering car, but the air compressor is not in working order at this time. The interior is in great shape with new seat covers and carpet. The dash area looks fantastic with a custom Sony am/fm/cd stereo. The engine compartment is very detailed with chrome Edelbrock air cleaner and valve covers. The exterior base/clear Bahama Blue finish is really nice. The undercarriage is solid and looks as good as the rest of the car. You can tell by the trunk space and the jamb areas that this is a good car that has been very well maintained. By looking at the pictures close you will see the only rust on this car is around the back glass trim and on the top of the driver’s door near the mirror. Overall, this is an excellent car with tons of potential. This car is mechanically sound and runs and drives like a champ.

Helicopter crashes on Top Gear Korea set while chasing Corvette ZR1
Mon, 11 Feb 2013The formula of Top Gear Korea is seemingly about the same as it is everywhere else in the world, including the flagship British original: involve interesting cars in fantastical situations with charismatic hosts. That prescription has proved to be pretty reliable over the years, and has lead to some truly memorable and exciting pieces of television.
Something like that was undoubtedly what the Korean producers were after when they lined up this segment - a drag race between a Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 and an AH1 Cobra military helicopter. The planners almost certainly did not expect the filming of the segment to go quite as wrong as it actually did, with the helicopter actually crashing into the dirt after the "drag race" had been completed. Thankfully, we're told that no one was seriously injured in the crash, but the footage, in the video below, is pretty damn chilling to watch, nevertheless.

NHTSA could add 1M cars to GM recall
Wed, 13 Mar 2013
The Detroit Free Press is reporting that the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration may expand a recall campaign for faulty brake lamps. The agency is currently looking into complaints that certain 2004-2011 Chevrolet Malibu models as well as some 2007-2009 Saturn Aura sedans may have brake lights that do not illuminate when the driver presses the pedal. Alternatively, the lamps may also illuminate without input from the driver. General Motors recalled 8,000 Pontiac G6 models from the 2005 model year for the same problem, and NHTSA is currently investigating whether to add 550,000 more G6 models built between 2005 and 2009 to the list for the same issue.
In addition, investigators are currently examining 97 complaints from Malibu and Aura owners with the same trouble. If NHTSA adds those models to the recall campaign, more than one million units could be covered. GM, meanwhile, says there have been no accidents or injuries as a result of the problem.
