Frame off restoration on a 1972 Chevrolet Fleet Side Cheyenne C-10. It has a small block 350 with 425 horse power, pos traction rear end with 373 gears and a turbo 350 transmission. We changed the windows to the vent window delete kit, chrome tilt wheel, seats are aftermarket they are leather and the seat has a built in letdown console. We added front and rear sway bars, added an aluminum fuel cell and moved it to the bed of the truck. It has 4 wheel disc brakes and electric cut outs on the exhaust. Torque thrust wheels, 235-55-18 on the front and 285-55-18’s on the rear. From the ground up every piece, nut, bolt, washer, glass, wiring harness, everything is new. This is a project that I have been piddling on for the last 4 years. I took my time and put a lot of heart and soul into this project. Veyron and C7 Corvette join cast of Transformers 4

Like the Fast & Furious franchise, the Michael Bay-directed series of Transformers movies has become known as much for its bad acting as its impressive lineup of cars. As filming just started for Transformers 4, Bay's website has confirmed two new cars for the next installment as well as a makeover for everyone's favorite tractor trailer hero, Optimus Prime.
Joining the cast of T4 are a "race-inspired" Chevrolet Corvette Stingray and a Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse. While Bay's website did not supply names for either car, Bugatti is reporting on its Facebook page that the Veyron will join the Autobots. Speaking of the good guys, top Autobot Optimus Prime is getting an all-new body based on a Western Star with a gaudy appearance that was seemingly inspired by Trick My Truck - right down to the six smoke stacks and side pipes!

GM throttles back Chevy Malibu, Buick LaCrosse production over swollen inventories

As inventory of the Chevrolet Malibu and Buick LaCrosse continues to pile up, General Motors will be idling its Fairfax Assembly Plant for two weeks, according to Automotive News. This move comes about a month after the plant was shut down for three weeks in late December and early January for the same reason. As of January 31, the GM had a 94-day supply of Malibu stock while the LaCrosse was a little worse with a 117-day supply.
Just last week, GM announced that it would be investing $600 million in upgrading this plant, but it's unclear what future plans the company has in store for Fairfax considering slow sales of both the plant's models. We do expect a refreshed and more luxurious LaCrosse shortly and an early design update for the Malibu to be announced at some point this year, although we have had no official word as to when either will happen.
