IN 1982 THE CAR WAS TRANSPORTED TO OHIO WHERE IT WAS DRIVEN FOR 3 YEARS AND THEN TAKEN APART, FOR RESTORATION. ALWAYS GARAGE KEPT AND REGULARLY MAINTAINED. THE CAR DOES RUNS AND MOVE UNDER ITS OWN POWER, GOES INTO ALL GEARS.NO SMOKING OR KNOCKING/TICKING NOISES.MILEAGE IS UNKNOWN WAS TOLD 55,000 ODOMETER SAYS 15,000 BRAKES FEEL AS THOUGH THEY COULD USE ADJUSTMENT. IT IS A FACTORY MONZA 900 CAR MEANING IT DOES HAVE THE 4 SPEED TRANS, TINTED GLASS AND AN UPGRADED INTERIOR. THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT IS VERY CLEAN. OVERALL I FEEL THE PICTURES WILL DO THE TALKING FOR ME, IT DOES NEED SOME MINOR WORK BUT IS A GREAT CAR.I KNOW I WILL NEVER HAVE ONE THIS CLEAN AGAIN, THEY ARE GETTING HARD TO FIND AND I WONT GIVE THIS ONE AWAY. Race Recap: 2013 Indianapolis 500 better than Bollywood; all the emotion, none of the music [spoilers]
Mon, 27 May 2013If the 2013 Indy 500 were a movie it would be the one expected to win all the little statues come awards season, and if it were an athlete it would have made spectators watch in awe as it broke record after record. And this kind of talk comes after last year's race was considered one of the best ever - the last lap hijinks in 2012 and Takuma Sato's crash leading to a podium ceremony straight out of a Golden Globes tearjerker.
But this year's race delivered more than anyone expected, from the 250,000 fans to the commentators to the IndyCar series itself and, finally, to the guy who hopped through a two-mile window on Lap 197 to take the lead and keep it until the end.
GM investing $167m in Spring Hill for new midsize vehicles
Tue, 06 Aug 2013General Motors has announced a large investment in its Spring Hill, Tennessee facility. The former home of Saturn production will be getting a $167 million addition to a previously announced $183 million, to cover a pair of new midsize vehicles. The investment is expected to create 1,800 jobs at the factory.
That $350 million is being divvied up for a pair of programs at Spring Hill. The first will take the bulk of the money ($223 million) and create 1,000 of the 1,800 jobs, while the other will take the remaining $127 million and generate the leftover 800 positions. But GM says the investment will cover "midsize vehicle programs." So what could they be?
The leading candidate in our minds is a new crossover for Buick, called the Anthem, that will slot between the Encore and Enclave, but will be slightly smaller than the Equinox and Terrain. As we've explained, the new model will likely be the first product to sport GM's new D2UX platform, which will eventually replace both the Delta and Theta platforms. Spring Hill is already building the Equinox, so there could be some credence to this theory.

For those of you still with us, the first race in the United SportsCar Championship (USCC) is done, but the discussions about it certainly won't end for a while. Daytona Prototypes claimed the first four overall places, the top spot taken by the No. 5 Action Express Coyote-Chevrolet Corvette DP driven by Joao Barbosa, Christian Fittipaldi, Sebastien Bourdain and Burt Friselle. The 16th and final caution of the race bunched the field up for an eight-minute sprint to the flag, so the first place getter finished just 1.4 seconds ahead of the No. 10 Wayne Taylor Racing Dallara-Chevrolet Corvette DP driven by Max Angelelli. Third place went to Brian Friselle in the No. 9 Action Express Chevrolet Corvette DP, 20 seconds down. Chevrolet power hasn't taken the overall win since 2003, eleven years later it scores a one-two-three-four. The No. 6 Muscle Milk/Pickett Racing ORECA-Nissan 03 scored fifth place, the top LMP2 finisher.
The Prototype Challenge class win went to the No. 54 CORE Autosport team of Colin Braun, Jon Bennett, Mark Wilkins and James Gue.
