1965 V8 Corvair on 2040-cars

I have a 1965 v8 corvair for sale here. It has a 327 small block chevrolet in it, it was built by a shop in California years ago. It was raced years ago in SCCA competition and was all gone over when I bought it. It has brand new tires, 4 wheel drum brakes still, the rear louvers were custom made to the car, The interior firewall was hand fabbed aluminum with a thick plexiglas top piece. the belt system on it is a cog style setup for the alternator and water pump. I am looking to sell this to make room for my next project and would like to see someone enjoy it. The paint on it looks good but it does have defects in the paint but hey it was painted 30 some years ago and as you can see in the pictures it looks good yet. These type of cars are getting harder and harder to come by and here is your chance to own one mean machine. The kit used was a crown kit. It does have a rollcage as well. Corvette Stingray designer lists five goals of new exterior shape

General Motors has released a new short video featuring Kirk Bennion of the Corvette's exterior design team, talking about the challenges of sculpting Chevrolet's new flagship sports car and the five goals the team had to keep in mind as it worked. In the end, Bennion's team had the pleasure of seeing their hard work take center stage as the Corvette captured the world's eyes at the Detroit Auto Show earlier this year.
2014 Chevrolet Malibu gets more torque, more room and inspiration from the Impala
Fri, 31 May 2013The 2014 Chevrolet Malibu, having stared at the Impala across the showroom floor for a year, gets nips and tucks all over inspired by its larger brother. The 2.5-liter four-cylinder in the base car will get a stop-start system and 23 city miles per gallon, 35 highway, each number representing a one-mpg improvement over the 2013 car. Output is 196 horsepower and 186 pound-feet of torque.
Opt for the 2.0-liter turbo and, while power holds steady at 259 hp, torque goes up by 14 percent to a striking 295 lb-ft (a figure Chevy calls best in the class). The final details include newly programmed transmission shift points and faster shifts, for better engaging and enjoying the added power.
Looks-wise, the grille's been reshaped to be more in line with the new Chevrolet look, a narrower upper grille hovering over a larger lower grille.
Chevy Corvette Stingray "colorizer" lets you chase the rainbow

While Chevrolet has yet to release the official configurator for the 2014 Corvette Stingray, it did give us something else to kill some time playing around with.
The C7 Corvette "colorizer" recently went online, and it lets you look at the car in all of its available colors and wheel options from four different angles so that when this car does go on sale, you know exactly which one you want. It includes the Corvette's full pallet of colors including Torch Red, Laguna Blue and the hue you see above, Velocity Yellow. Toss in the black wheels, and we're sold.
