This is a real nice 1964 Corvette Coupe. It has its original matching number 327/365hp engine. It also has a
4-spd transmission and power brakes. It has a nice body and a solid frame with a very nice black interior. The
paint, however, is not real nice. It looks like an old lacquer job with a lot of little bumps coming through the
paint. It also has a set of 1965 side vents on the car instead of the '64 style. The original color is Silver
Blue. This car runs and drives excellent. All the gauges work except the clock. The headlight motors and the
wiper motor need to be rebuilt. I have a set of front bumpers that are included with the car. It runs like a bear
and seems like it has an original set of 4.11 gears in the rear, which was optional with the 365hp motor. It is
very rare to find an original engine 365hp car.

Mon, 27 May 2013If the 2013 Indy 500 were a movie it would be the one expected to win all the little statues come awards season, and if it were an athlete it would have made spectators watch in awe as it broke record after record. And this kind of talk comes after last year's race was considered one of the best ever - the last lap hijinks in 2012 and Takuma Sato's crash leading to a podium ceremony straight out of a Golden Globes tearjerker.
But this year's race delivered more than anyone expected, from the 250,000 fans to the commentators to the IndyCar series itself and, finally, to the guy who hopped through a two-mile window on Lap 197 to take the lead and keep it until the end.
Chevy Corvette gets Valet Mode with Performance Data Recorder [w/video]
Mon, 18 Aug 2014For the 2015-model-year, Chevrolet introduces Valet Mode for the Corvette, an enhancement to the Performance Data Recorder (PDR) already available and to your peace of mind. The PDR already captures 720p HD video with a windshield-mounted camera, records interior audio with a cabin microphone and gathers telemetry data using GPS, saving the data to an SD card in the glovebox. You can then watch your track-day antics with various information overlays on the center console screen.
Valet Mode will let you hit 'Replay' when your car gets pulled up front smelling vaguely of fricasseed clutch. Turned on by entering a four-digit code, it also locks the interior storage spaces and turns off the infotainment system. It can't be turned off until the code is re-entered.
