Not a show car but a nice car. Motor is stock except for intake, carb and headers. New radiator, heater core, alternator, starter, belts, hoses, carb, tune, transmission, shocks, brakes, control valve, half shafts, ujoints in drive shaft and more. Interior has newly upholstered seats, carpet, dash pad, nice upgraded sterio with xm. Frame is in good shape. Tires have about 5000 miles on them. Fresh front end alignment. Car has some nicks and scratches. Hood has some stress cracks and as with many old c3's the door alignment at the front fenders is not perfect. The car is an A/C car and all parts and peices are installed on the car. My plan was to install a modern A/C unit so other than a clean up I haven't fooled much with this old unit. The side window glass and rear window has some scratches. The windshield is in good condition. This is a good reliable, running and driving car."

As is described in condition description above the car is a nice solid car.  It is a driver that should be reliable for some time to come.    I have owned the car for about 3 years and have spent a lot more in it than I am sure it is worth.  I would entertain trades for nice roadster.    Any questions please call Greg @ 443-398-4654 or email me at spihomeimprovement@yahoo.com.

Callaway debuts its new C7 Stingray at National Corvette Museum

Fri, 02 May 2014

Callaway showed off its first tuned version of the 2014 Corvette Stingray at the National Corvette Museum last week, giving the rampant enthusiasts of America's sports car a look at the roughly 620-horsepower, supercharged rocket.
Unlike the Corvette SC610 we showed you back in January, this Stingray packs a fair bit more oomph. Horsepower is only up ten ponies, but torque has jumped from 556 pound-feet to "at least" 600 pound-feet. Neither horsepower nor torque is official quite yet, although Callaway is expecting to know just what its creation can do once testing and validation is completed later this month.
The 6.2-liter, supercharged V8 now boasts a new, three-element intercooler, which Callaway claims only allowed the inlet air temperature to increase by ten degrees Fahrenheit during dyno runs. Previous designs saw a 35-degree-Fahrenheit jump. The exhaust system has also been fettled with, and now is even less restrictive.

UAW to vote on strike at Kentucky Corvette plant

Tue, 08 Apr 2014

The current wait time for a new Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is well, not short. With word of a strike at the Bowling Green, KY factory responsible for seventh-generation sports car, though, that wait time could end up growing substantially.
Now, a strike is still a ways off. UAW Local 2164, which represents the 800 workers responsible for screwing the Corvette together, is set to vote on authorizing a strike today, but even if the employees give the action a go, it's far from a sure thing. According to The Tennessean, both regional and national union officials would need to put their stamp of approval on strike action.
"The membership has to vote to strike, but it's just a step in the process," said Gary Casteel, the UAW's Region 8 director and one of the people that would need to authorize a strike action. Casteel told The Tennessean, "It's purely a local situation, though. They are having some issues with the local management."

GM recalls Chevy Express, GMC Savana over rollaway concern

Mon, 21 Jan 2013

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has issued a recall notice for a small number of General Motors fullsize vans due to possible rollaway concerns. On certain 2013 Chevrolet Express and 2013 GMC Savana models, it is possible to remove the key from the ignition without the shifter being in park.
Only 980 total units are being affected by this recall, and GM is fixing the issue by replacing the ignition cylinder and associated keys. Affected Chevy vans were built during most of November and December while its GMC counterpart was only built for a week in November. The recall goes into effect on January 23, and to find out if your vehicle applies to the recall, the GM and NHTSA contact numbers can be found on the official recall notice, which is posted below.
