It is 100% original. The engine is working just fine. It still needs a freon conversion for the AC. The only issue is the aesthetics. It needs new paint, interior, a new windshield(frost cracked it), and the radio needs a few new wires. The car has never been in an accident nor had any body work. It has every option available for the '76 Stingray. Everything but the tires are factory, they were bought in '97. It is L-82 and has a T-top. Less than 100k miles.

This is an excellent project car even if you have a tight schedule. All it needs are minor restorations, since the engine is fine. The mechanical problems are small, the passenger window doesn't roll up straight but it should be simple to fix since the panels need to be replaced anyway. Apart from that the radio seems to need a few fixes. The rest are just visual restorations.

Even without restoration it still runs very well and will turn heads on the road. This car is fiberglass so it is very lightweight with a very powerful engine. It WILL put you back in your seat and the acceleration can get away from you if you aren't careful. It is every bit of a muscle-luxury car it was marketed as.

Pure Vision Design TT Camaro has 1,400 reasons to want it

We've talked about Pure Vision Design before, a California-based company that made waves at last year's SEMA show with its Martini-liveried, Indy-car-powered Ford Mustang. That same car later starred in a Petrolicious video we showed you just a few weeks back. The company's latest creation is a menacing car it calls the Pure Vision Design TT Camaro. Based on a 1972 model, this car shares the Martini Mustang's clean styling and obsession with details.
Unlike the Mustang, which draws its power from a mid-60s Lotus-Ford Indycar engine, the "TT" in this Camaro's name implies something far more potent. The Nelson Racing Engines 427-cubic-inch V8 has been fitted with a pair of turbochargers, with a claimed output of 1,400 horsepower. That's almost 1,000 more than the Martini Mustang.
A six-speed Magnum transmission dispatches that power to the ground, while Pirelli PZero tires are tasked with (somehow) trying to grip the road. Baer brakes hide behind those HRE rims, while JRI coilovers and HyperTech springs bless the Camaro with some degree of competency in the bends.

Chevy Chaparral 2X Vision Gran Turismo concept blends the past and the future

The Chevrolet Chaparral 2X Vision Gran Turismo is the rare concept car that salutes a seminal moment in history, yet also borders on science fiction.
Revealed Wednesday at the Los Angeles Auto Show, the concept uses the name of one of Chevy's historic racing partnerships, with Chaparral Racing, which dates to the 1960s. Chaparrals raced successfully at a range of levels, including IndyCar, Trans-Am and SCCA competition.
But the history ends there, as the concept's main purpose is as a racecar in a downloadable update for the PlayStation 3 game Gran Turismo 6.

General Motors has released a new short video featuring Kirk Bennion of the Corvette's exterior design team, talking about the challenges of sculpting Chevrolet's new flagship sports car and the five goals the team had to keep in mind as it worked. In the end, Bennion's team had the pleasure of seeing their hard work take center stage as the Corvette captured the world's eyes at the Detroit Auto Show earlier this year.
