        1977 CHEVY CORVETTE

I have for sale a very nice driver quality 1977 chevy corvette with the original 350 engine and 4 speed with clear title. I am selling this vehicle for a friend of mine who has owned it for 20 years since 1987. This vehicle has been garaged for 20 years and has been driven periodically for the last 20 years. He bought the car in hawaii when he was in the military and had it shipped back home.

PROS:
This vehicle is mechanically sound, runs great, he rebuilt the engine in 1987 with TRW parts and has less than 40,000 since built, also the 4 speed is mechanically sound has had clutch,to bearing, disc changed years back. This car is very dependable and was driven by him across country. This is also a A/C car but has never been used since he has owned it, the belt is removed and the system will most likley need a look over. The body is solid with no cracks or damange, has had rims and tires replaced a few years back with less than 5,000 miles on them, they are cragar SST Super Tricks paid over $2500 for them. The center chuck and gears have been changed came out of a 78 indy pace car, does have the original center with a rebuilt kit. he has done other work when needed through out the years. This car is no means a show car just a nice dependable driver for weekend cruises, needs some TLC listed below.

CONS:

The paint on the car has faded a bit through the years a good 10 footer, will shine with a good buff but still has flaws not a show car. The brakes will need a look over since sitting for a bit has had calipers replaced a few years back but pedal is low, also e brake will need adjusting, speedo cable needs replacing also. The interior is old and dingy would benefit from a new install kit, just basic tlc needed or drive as is.

LEGAL:
This vehicle is sold AS IS with no warranties implied or expressed, shipping is buyers responsibility, will sell to all countries can asssist with shipping arrangements. The buyer must make a $500 non refundable deposit within two days of auction end and balance can be made by bank wire or cash in person. Steve McQueen's last movie car, now Pawn Stars-owned, up for auction [w/video]

Sun, 03 Feb 2013

The last car Steve McQueen ever drove in a movie is officially up for auction. The 1951 Chevrolet Styline DeLuxe Convertible you see above is now owned by none other than Rick Harrison of Pawn Stars fame, but once ferried McQueen around the set of his last film, 1980's The Hunter. That flick saw the Bullit star play a bumbling bounty hunter and didn't exactly set the box office on fire. McQueen bought the car after production wrapped, and four years later it sold at his estate sale at the Imperial Palace in Las Vegas.
Flash forward to 2003, and the convertible received a full restoration back to near-stock specifications. Hagerty Insurance estimates the car to be worth around $45,000 without the significant providence. Given its ties to one of film's most popular gearheads, the old Chevrolet could fetch up to 10 times that when it goes under the gavel in Ft Luaderdale, Florida on March 22. You can head over to the Auctions America site for more information. You can also check out the trailer for The Hunter below.

2014 Chevy Silverado High Country spied wearing trappings of new luxury trim

Wed, 03 Apr 2013

Spy photographers have spotted the new Chevrolet Silverado High Country and GMC Sierra Denali out on public streets for a little testing. From the looks of things, the Silverado will receive a much-differentiated front fascia along with special badges and those honking 20-inch chrome wheels. Expect to find a more posh interior as well. Likewise, the Sierra Denali will wear a tweaked nose with the familiar Denali bling. The one of the GMC trucks spotted here rolls on 21-inch gunmetal wheels instead of the 20-inch chrome pieces of the High Country.
Word has it both trucks will go on sale after the Texas State Fair this summer. While General Motors hasn't said for certain what we can expect to find under the hood, we'd be surprised to see anything outside of the range of engines found in the standard Silverado and Sierra models. That means buyers should be able to get their hands on the efficient, 23-miles per gallon 5.3-liter V8.

Chevy Sonic shreds like a skateboard

Tue, 19 Mar 2013

Despite the fact that the 2013 Chevy Sonic is a fun, plucky little thing - especially in ever-so-slightly hotter RS guise - it is not, in fact, a skateboard. But don't tell that to rapper Theophilus London.
In General Motors' latest spot for the Chevrolet compact, London needs to make a quick run to the store for some milk. And even though, once again, the Sonic is not a skateboard, it ollies, pops and gets air because, you know, it's just so much fun to throw around.
If this video looks familiar to you, it's because this is the full ad that we first got a preview of in Chevy's longer, full-line spot, where the brand's "Find New Roads" tagline was introduced. Scroll down to see this dedicated Sonic spot, along with the older ad, and remember, the Sonic is still - still - not a skateboard.
