Up for sale is a 2006 Chevrolet C6 Corvette in excellant condition, Garage kept, non smoker owner. Car has a clean title and never been in an accident, 41k miles, heavily loaded 3LT option car. Color is Victory Red w/ Ebony interior. It is AOD or 6 Spd semi automatic paddleshift selection. Has the LS2 400hp engine that sounds nice when you decide to have a little fun. I drive this only on the weekends around the mountain areas. Tires have plenty of life on them, I would say 75% or more. Comes with all paper work and service records. Both keys and key fobs. I had the Chevy dealers take care of a service recall (ground wire) on all 06-07 Corvettes and a pulley went out so I had them replace it ($1500 ouch!). So much to list for this car....

Note: Remember this is a used car and although I take very good care of it it does have a few tiny flaws in the paint that can be buffed out. Paint I would give it a 9 out of 10, Interior is 9.8 out of 10, Drivetrain is 10 out of 10. It does have a tiny crack in the windshield about 5 mm long that was there when i bought the car and never got worst, you don't even notice it while your driving. What I should of done is get the insurance, wait a week and call them saying a rock hit my windshield. (Hint Hint)

Thu, 02 May 2013With Mother's Day coming up, we're always looking for new gift ideas to celebrate the occasion, but hot laps around a track might not be the best suggestion for Darius Khashabi. In a video posted on YouTube, Khashabi straps his mom into the passenger seat of his C6 Corvette Z06 for some laps around Sonoma Raceway (formerly Infineon Raceway) at "60 percent" with comical results.
Now this isn't the first time Mama Khashabi has gotten seat time in her son's car around a track, as his YouTube page shows him pulling a similar stunt - with similar results - around Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca last year. Hot Wheels' Twitter-enabled vending machine coughs up free Camaro diecasts
Wed, 27 Feb 2013There are still plenty of companies that haven't gotten the whole social media thing down pat yet, but Hot Wheels isn't one of them. During the recent Canadian International Auto Show in Toronto, Hot Wheels created a lot of buzz for itself by using a vending machine filled with Chevrolet Camaro models, but instead of money to get the cars, show attendees just had to use Twitter.
To get the free car, people were asked to send a tweet to Hot Wheels Canada saying what they liked about the new Hot Wheels Edition Camaro, and including the #ChevyCIAS hashtag. This seemed to be a popular marketing tool, too, as AdWeek reports that the @HotWheelsCanada account more than tripled in followers during the course of the 10-day show. Looking ahead, this could open up even more innovative marketing possibilities using social media.

2013 Chevy COPO Camaro announced with two new engines and manual option
Thu, 07 Mar 2013Chevrolet is following up the 2012 COPO Camaro with another limited run of the drag-strip-ready production car for 2013. Ditching the superchargers, the 2013 COPO Camaro can only be equipped with one of three naturally aspirated V8 engines, and other new features include the option of a manual transmission, new front springs, some minor styling changes and a lower starting price of $86,000. All cars are designed to abide by the rules of the NHRA's Stock Eliminator or Super Stock classifications, depending on in which series buyers wish to enter their Chevrolet Camaro.
Returning for 2013 is the 427-cubic-inch V8 producing 425 horsepower, but the new engines include a 325-hp 350-CID V8 and a 375-hp 396-CID V8. Buyers can select to purchase all three engines, and each will be matched with the sequence number of that car; the track-only COPO cars will not have vehicle identification numbers and can't be registered for street use.
Chevrolet is also offering unique enthusiast-specific options such as a COPO Build Book and the opportunity for owners to help assemble their car's engine at the Chevrolet Performance Build Center in Wixom, MI.
