Car is beautiful inside and out. A real head turner. It is very fast and roars like a V8 should! Stored in a heated garage. A real Sunday fair weather driver. 2 relatively minor issues- 1) tire pressure monitoring system only works for 1 wheel. I've been told that the batteries in the sensors are likely bad and need replacement or they need to be reset. Either way tires would have to be removed. 2) front drivers rim has 2 cracks along the edge shown in picture (present when I bought the car but didn't notice) Had it checked by a rim specialist who said its cosmetic only, doesn't affect the performance or safety."

Car is mechanically sound and exterior is very good. A few minor scratches on the door edge and paint chip on the side mirror which was filled with touch up paint and barely noticeable. All in all its in excellent shape for an almost 7 year old car. It has a lowering kit also installed by previous owner. There are some scratches on the underside of the front nose from scraping the ground-typical on most of these cars since they are low to the ground. Not noticeable unless you get underneath the front of the car. I also have a Griots car cover that will be included in the sale. A color matched speed bra with mirror covers will be included as well which protects the front end from rocks and also the underneath in the front. It is very tight fitting, looks great, and many don't even notice its on the car. (A $600 value). Just passed NY State inspection. Mileage is real-Sunday driver. You won't be disappointed. I get a lot of compliments on the car. Its a real head turner and sound is intoxicating!

GM recalling 426,000 sedans over faulty transmission shift cable

General Motors is recalling some 426,240 sedans that may have a faulty transmission shift cable, according to a National Highway Traffic Safety Administration report this morning. The recall concerns a fault within four-speed automatic transmissions equipped on 2007-2010 Saturn Aura models, and 2008-2010 Chevrolet Malibu and Pontiac G6 models.
The report specifies that tabs on the transmission shift cable may fracture and separate. Such a fault could cause a discrepancy between the actual position of the transmission and the apparent position of the shift lever.
GM is currently working to notify owners of the vehicles in question, and dealers will check and replace shift cables free of charge. Scroll down to read the complete NHTSA report.

The 2014 Chevrolet SS sedan is for drivers who value performance above all else

The car you see above is the 2014 Chevrolet SS, and it's important both because it is the first rear-wheel-drive performance sedan from Chevy in 17 years, and because it will be the nameplate the brand uses on NASCAR tracks all across the country starting this year.
Though it wears a name as American as baseball and apple pie, the machine was actually designed and built in Australia, sharing most of its parts with the brand-new VF-model Holden Commodore. That said, the basic chassis bits are shared with other Chevrolet models like the Camaro and Caprice Police Patrol Vehicle.
While Chevrolet is happy to sell a Malibu or Impala to anyone looking for a mainstream family sedan, but the SS is reserved for buyers interested first and foremost in performance. Most sedans sold these days are front-wheel drive, which is great for everyday driving and when the weather goes bad, but the SS is instead a rear-wheel-drive vehicle aimed at enthusiasts who love to drive and who prefer speed and performance above all else.
