Up for sale is my 2008 Chevrolet Corvette with roughly 58xxx miles. On nice days the vehicle is daily driven so mileage is subject to change. The vehicle is black on black, and the 3LT trim putting out 416RWHP on a Mustang Dyno via Vector Motorsports. This car is an animal. The car is in good condition with no mechanical, electrical, engine or transmission issues. There is of course minor rock chips on the vehicle from daily driving nothing major. I do have the stock bumper which has no rock damage to it if that is more your thing. If you plan on keeping this as a show car you may want to install the factory bumper or repaint the TKO one. Synthetic oil change every 2,500 miles. Vehicle sold as-is with no existing warranty. There is one accident that will appear - the rear of the vehicle was kicked or hit in a parking lot scuffing the paint and knocking a tail light loose. Nothing major.

Chevy monitors drivers' biometrics while experiencing new Corvette Stingray

What we can't tell you, though, is what the car does to us - how its performance impacts us, physically. That's what makes this video series from Chevrolet so darn cool.
The Bow-Tie brand rented out Spring Mountain Motorsports Ranch, got several (very) different individuals together, strapped a bunch of sensors to their bodies to record biometric data ranging from heart rate to respiration to brain activity, and then handed them keys to the new Chevrolet Corvette Stingray. The results are explained in a series of videos, devoted to each driver, showing how different people react to the Corvette's performance.
If, like your author, you're a nerd for medical science, this is going to be a fascinating set of videos. If not, it's still pretty cool to see how the body of someone with racing experience, like Gran Turismo creator Kazunori Yamauchi, reacts to tracking a car like the Corvette Stingray compared to the owner of legendary Detroit barbecue joint, Slows BBQ. Autoline Detroit recently played host to Bob Lutz, and, as is always the case, the former General Motors vice chairman dished out some great commentary. Lutz was promoting his new book Car Guys vs. Bean Counters: The Battle for the Soul of American Business, and talk quickly turned to his role as it related to product development and high-level decision making at GM. While on the topic of brand management, Lutz revealed a few rather interesting tidbits about his former employer:

Official USPS Muscle Cars stamps coming to a mailbox near you
Thu, 21 Feb 2013As much as our digital lives have cut down on our trips to the post office, there are still times that sending "snail mail" is necessary. With us car lovers in mind and philately in their hearts, the good folks at the United States Postal Service will introduce a new stamp design called "Muscle Cars" starting on February 22.
Designed by artist Tom Fritz, the new collection of stamps consist of five classic muscle cars: 1969 Dodge Charger Daytona, 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle SS, 1967 Shelby GT-500, 1966 Pontiac GTO and 1970 Plymouth Hemi 'Cuda. In addition to just the stamps, the USPS is also commemorating the new series with plenty of collectable memorabilia. Previous car-related stamps include 50s Sporty Cars from 2005 and 50s Fins and Chrome from 2008.
