Chevrolet: Corvette on 2040-cars
Sylvania, Georgia, United States
Health and financial issues forcing sale of my C5 Corvette. Ive owned this car for 5 years and only averaged about 1000 miles on it per year. Its been garaged and pretty well pampered. I drove it to work occasionally, and up to the north GA, TN, and NC mountains. No street racing or anything crazy. Its in really good shape all around. All the panels match up even with no damage other than minor sand rock chips on mirrors/front end. I did a coolant flush when I bought it. (Dexcool)Engine oil and filter recently changed, as was the differential oil.It has the factory 12 disk CD changer in the trunk. Heads up display. Both tops.Transparent top is in like new condition. The vinyl graphics will come off easily. Will leave them on until time of sale. I garantee no fading, cuts, or other paint issues under the vinyl. Tire pressure sensors all work. Everything in the car works as far as I know. The dash as you can see is in great shape. No cracks or anything.Driver seat has some wear but is intact. All it needs is a driver.I have other pictures if needed. Please contact me if you have any questions.Clear title in handCash only sales terms.

2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra introduced
GM recalls full-size truck, SUVs and vans over faulty shifter mechanism
Mon, 07 Jan 2013Twelve different General Motors vehicles from the 2013 model year, up to 54,686 units in total, are being recalled over two potential issues with their steering columns. The models in question, all full-size trucks, SUVs or vans, are the: Cadillac Escalade, Escalade ESV, Escalade EXT, Chevrolet Avalanche, Express, Silverado, Suburban, Tahoe, and GMC Savana, Sierra, Yukon and Yukon XL.
The affected vehicles were built with a fractured parking lock cable or "a malformed steering column lock actuator gear in the lock module assembly." As a consequence, they could shift out of park without the brake pedal being applied or with the key removed or in the off position.
A bulletin from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration indicates that the recall should begin on January 17. GM will notify owners, at which time they can take their vehicles to their dealers for repair free of charge. Have a look at the bulletin below for more information.
Camaro spy shots show subtly different grille, front fascia
Sun, 03 Feb 2013It looks like there some changes in store for the Chevrolet Camaro - the only thing is that we just don't know what Chevy has up its sleeve. Looking at these spy shots, we'd initially be inclined to think that there is just a minor facelift or a new special edition, but upon closer inspection, there are a few oddities about this car that definitely have us intrigued.
The most obvious difference on this prototype is the slightly restyled front fascia with a smaller lower air inlet and the two-bar grille. Then we get to some of the car's mysterious details. For starters, this fascia has the SS vent above the grille, but it looks to be blocked off. Granted this could just be a one-off piece used for testing. What really piqued our interest was at the rear of the car where it has quad exhaust outlets that are used on the ZL1. Could this be the LS7-powered Camaro that we reported on back in December?
At this point, your guess is as good as ours as to what we're looking at here, so let us know in the comments what you think this could be.
