1992 Mustang Lx Convertible Calypso Green White Top, White Leather Interior on 2040-cars

Year:1992 Mileage:99345
Location:

Muncie, Indiana, United States

Muncie, Indiana, United States

I have a 1992 Calypso Green LX Convertible for sale, with the White Top and White Leather interior original 5 speed car with 99k miles. One of 646 built in this color, not breaking down to how many original 5 speeds were built. Also not breaking down to how many White/White cars were built, I believe it breaks down to 361 White/White cars ever built. This car has Brand New Tires, runs and drives great, shifts smooth. I wouldn't let the miles fool you, the A/C still blows cold and has never been converted to R134. The car retains all the correct VIN tags on all the locations on the car. The car still has the date coded 1992 plug wires on it. The top functions perfect, up and down with no issues. I wouldn't be afraid to jump in this car and drive it to Florida or further.

This car is all original except replacement mufflers that were welded in by Midas, (I have the receipt for the replacement). This car has tons of Original paperwork to go along with it, like window sticker, original sales receipt, owners manual with warranty card and plastic keys ( there is a picture I will post of the paperwork) I also have brochures and other kinds of paperwork to go along with it. The car was under coated when first purchased (have the receipt), it originally came from Champaign, IL. I have the original convertible boot, bag  and will be pictured.  I purchased the car from I believe the 3rd owner locally to me. The car has a set of locking lug nuts that were added, I have a box with 4 original lug nuts also in the trunk area and the key to the locking lug nuts. I just replaced the thermostat in the car for when your cruising around with the top down on those cool summer night.

The car has been drove and shows very well, yet there are rock chips on the front and sides that have been touched up at some point. This would great driver car or take it to shows for the un restored judging class, or just drive it and enjoy it. The power door locks need actuators, the ash tray door needs fixed, the map pockets tightened up or replaced. I am still trying to work on the map pockets and ash tray door as the car is for sale, so some of them may be fixed by the time it sells. The seats are the original seat coverings so they are in decent shape with the drivers seat being in the roughest condition overall. I wanted to keep it all original so I will leave it to the buyer if they want to replace the seats or not, if i kept the car I would replace them just for appearance.

The car is located in the 47303 area code, feel free to call (765) 74four 841seven from 9am to 11pm EST, If I don't answer I will get back with you leave a message. I am a very busy person with work through the week, Or send me an Email: Willbiti@gmail.com

The car is for sale locally, so I reserve the right to end the auction. I will ship the car at the buyers expense, or the buyer can pickup locally.  A $500 dollar deposit is required within 24 hours of the ending of the auction. The rest of the funds can be wired, or cash in person, or other payment arrangements, the funds must clear the bank before pickup of the vehicle. The car can be inspected if the buyer would like to do so, I live close to a Ford dealership or feel free to come inspect the car yourself.  I am a stand up person, I have sold a couple of my vehicles to guys off mustang forums, some without even viewing in person. The last car I sold the guy rented a car to come view mine then drove it home 1100 miles without an issue. If you would like more pictures of the car, just let me know and I can take them, the link below should show the majority of the car.

I you are bidding, bid to win, the reserve will be set at a decent price for the car. No tire kickers or BS bidders!

Please take the time to view all the pictures that were taken on 4/6/2014 in my Photo bucket album I will attach a few of the car also:

Corvette Stingray Convertible images mysteriously appear on web, so we add our own

Tue, 22 Jan 2013

It was inevitable that we'd see the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray topless at some point, but that didn't make us any less interested when a pair of supposedly leaked official images showed up on theautoinsiderblog.com last week. We posted them on our Facebook page, but held off reporting on them here until we could get a little more information.
Those images, which feature a dark red car on a sterile black studio background, supposedly first appeared on the website of diecast model maker Maisto. A Chevrolet spokesman has been reported saying that they are "not official images released by Chevrolet PR," which isn't a denial they're the real deal, but neither is it a confirmation.
Close examination of the photos suggest they could be official shots of the Corvette Stingray Convertible, and while some have doubted their authenticity due to a lack of vents (which were seen on the C7s that debuted in Detroit last week), it could be that the images are of a base model car without the Z51 package that doesn't require the extra venting and cooling.

2014 Chevy Corvette Stingray order guide hits the web

Mon, 15 Apr 2013

The official debut of the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is only part of the excitement for fans of Chevy's virtuoso sportscar. Although we got to see the car and some of its preliminary specs in Detroit and Geneva, there is still no word on pricing and some of the juicier data points we've been waiting for - such as confirmed power output, EPA estimated mileage figures and performance numbers. Until then, CorvetteBlogger has gotten its hands on the order guide for the coupe version of the car - in both base and Z51 iterations - revealing tidbits like standard and optional features and available color combinations.
Some other new details made it onto the order guide, such as our first interior specs for the coupe including slightly less hip room and headroom, more shoulder room and the same amount of legroom. To see the full order guide, head on over to CorvetteBlogger. From what we can gather, it sounds like more information will be revealed on April 25 during a party at the Corvette Museum, and for those sun worshipers patiently waiting for a convertible, it would appear you've got another model year to wait through.

Dodge vs. Chevy tug-of-war taken to the extreme

Mon, 17 Dec 2012

They say "idle hands are the devil's playground," but said playgrounds grow to Disney-sized proportions when a pair of jacked-up trucks, two egos, a chain and an empty mall parking lot are involved. Proof of this is the video below, which shows a Cummins-powered Dodge Ram circa 2006 to 2008 chained tail-to-tail with what looks to be a gasoline-powered Chevrolet Silverado from the late 1990s or early 2000s.
We don't necessarily have to tell you who wins this battle, but we'll let you see for yourself the lengths the "winning" driver goes to prove his point. There's plenty of foul language in the video below, so beware that this might be Not Safe For Work, and not that we should have to tell you, but please, do not try this at home.
