Hello, up for sale is a very clean Rust Free El Camino. The previous owner had the Elco for 15 years and its in beautifull condition. Its a California car & looks to have had an easy life.! The paint is very nice 2 stage bugandy with a white top a few chips here and there. The inside of the bed is imaculate it doesn't even look like they hauled a grocery bag in it. Very straight & Rust Free ! I will take some pics of the undercarridge & post them in a couple of days. When they restored the Elco they took the drive train out of a 1966 Chevelle as well as the bucket seats, console & shifter 396 Big Block with a powerglide. Looks great and runs great ! Modern gauges in the stock location. American racing mags with like new tires. All chrome & stainless in very nice condition. Black & Yellow License plates restored as well. Any bidders with less then 10 positive feedbacks contact me before bidding , bidders with negative feedback will be cancelled I just don't want to play any games. I reserve the right to cancel auction if car sells elsewhere. Good luck bidding don't let this one get away!!

Corvette Stingray designer lists five goals of new exterior shape
Fri, 12 Apr 2013Redesigning an icon is a difficult task, especially when you've got a blank sheet of paper in front of you and the all-new C7 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray is intended to be your final objective.
General Motors has released a new short video featuring Kirk Bennion of the Corvette's exterior design team, talking about the challenges of sculpting Chevrolet's new flagship sports car and the five goals the team had to keep in mind as it worked. In the end, Bennion's team had the pleasure of seeing their hard work take center stage as the Corvette captured the world's eyes at the Detroit Auto Show earlier this year.
Supercharged 2015 Chevy Corvette Z06 takes the C7 beyond the ZR1
Mon, 13 Jan 2014
The Z06 is just about everything we got in the last ZR1, but better.
After a bright-yellow false start, here is the real thing: the fourth-generation, 2015 Corvette Z06. If Chevrolet makes a ZR1 version of the C7 Corvette, it's going to be absolutely mega, because the Z06 is just about everything we got in the last ZR1, but better.
Vert-A-Pac train cars kept your Chevy Vega's price in check
Fri, 01 Mar 2013Our apologies to those who've seen this before, but for the rest of the class, how awesome are these pictures of the Vert-A-Pac shipping system General Motors came up with to ship the Chevrolet Vega back in the 1970s? Developed along with Southern Pacific Railroad, GM was able to double the amount of Vega models it could ship by packing them into the unique storage cars vertically.
At the time, rail cars could fit 15 vehicles each, but Chevrolet was able to lower shipping costs by making it possible to ship 30 Vegas per rail car, in turn allowing the price of the Vega to remain as low as possible. Each rail car had 30 doors that would fold down so that a Vega could be strapped on, and then a forklift would come along and lift the door into place. All the cars were positioned nose down, and since they were shipped with all of their required fluids, certain aspects had to be designed specifically for this type of shipping, including an oil baffle in the engine, a special battery and even a repositioned windshield washer reservoir. See for yourself in our image gallery above.
