Current Title, The current title is a MINNESOTA salvage title. Please check with your state before bidding. Once you get this car inspected, it should come back as a prior salvage title/rebuilt in your home state. I can get it inspected here in Minnesota, but that might not do you any good if you live out of state. If I do get it inspected here, and send the title into Minnesota, then its going to take about 3 months for the state of Minnesota to send me the prior salvage title back. I know for a fact that this car will pass a Minnesota state inspection with flying colors or your money back. Other state's might require something different, so please check before you bid. All sales are final. We will provide you with a bill of sale, title, repair receipts, ect. You shouldn't need anything more then what I listed above, but if there is, let us know and we will do our best to get you anything you need to get this vehicle inspected in your home state. Att: Minnesota buyers, You will be charged sales tax at a rate of 6.5%, plus plates, tabs, and title transfer fees. You will also need to get this vehicle inspected with in the next year and we will provide you will all the receipts and Minnesota Affidavit of Reconstruction paperwork that you will need to get it inspected. You will be provided with a 21 day permit to drive this vehicle right away, and then we will get the plates for you and they will be mailed to you or you can pick this up if you are local. You have one year to get this vehicle inspected before Minnesota will issue you new license tabs. The inspection process is easy and only takes about 20mins. We will provide you with the dates and times of your nearest inspection center. After is has been inspected, you will get a new title back from the State of Minnesota that will give it a Prior Salvage Title Status. According to the State, that means that it is a clear title. According to everyone else, its still a salvage title. Att: Non-Minnesota buyers, You will NOT be charged any added fees. You will owe the exact amount of your final bid and that's all. You will be given the receipts for the repairs in the event you need them. You will also need to check with your local DMV to check the process of transferring a salvage title in your home state before you bid. You will be given a 31day permit to drive this vehicle home, but after that, you are on your own. You should be able to take the title to your dmv and get it transferred and get plates right away, but some states might have a different process that you need to go though, so please check that out before you bid. After the inspection is done in your home state, you should be issued a prior salvage/rebuilt title. Shipping, Shipping is at Buyers expense. If you can't come pick this up in person and you want us to ship it for you, we can set that up. Clearly the farther away you are, the more it's going to cost. Average shipping costs are about $150 in Minnesota, $300 in upper Midwest, $500 to outer Midwest (Texas,Ohio,Montana,Colorado), and coastal areas are about $700-$900. Depending on where you are, it could take anywhere from 2 to 8 business days before you receive this vehicle. Deposit, After this auction ends, we will need a $500 NON-REFUNDABLE deposit with in 48hrs of the end of this auction. If you come here and decide that you don't want to buy the vehicle for whatever reason, we will refund $250 of that deposit and keep $250. ALL auto manufacturers still do stand by recalls. So if this car is in need of a recall, take it back to the dealership and they will fix the recalled item. On the other hand, if you have any prior accident repair issues with this car with in the first 90 days let us know and we will usually take care of the problem at no charge as long as you bring the car back to us. 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible is a Swiss hit
Mon, 04 Mar 2013We've just received an early peek at the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible here at the Geneva Motor Show. General Motors was kind enough to let us attend the final dress-rehearsal for its press conference scheduled for tomorrow's opening media day, and we've come away with a good look at the droptop C7 in person.
In the metal, the new Corvette Convertible seems somehow less avant-garde than the Coupe, even in Z51 Performance Package guise. That's not necessarily a bad thing - more of an observation. That initial impression may be because the C7's new greenhouse is one of its most prominent departures from Corvettes past. While we didn't get to see the top erected, there's no rear side window in the stock images that Chevy has already released, suggesting the C7 convertible's profile will look a lot like its C6 predecessor. And with the new power tonneau cover in place, there are also no rear ducts that come as part of the Z51 package (they've been moved under the car).
As with its predecessor, the tonneau is a handsome double-bubble piece, and the body-color "waterfall" element into the cabin between the seats has made it to the new model as well. Thus, the overall look with the top down should be a bit more familiar to prior-gen C6 owners - if you're one of those put off by the C7's new shape, you'll probably appreciate the convertible bodystyle more than the coupe.

Fri, 24 Aug 2012It happens every year. We bid adieu to some cars and trucks that will be missed, and say good riddance to others wondering how they stayed around so long. Whether they're being killed off for slow sales or due to a new product coming along to replace them, the list of vehicles being discontinued after 2012 is surprisingly long and diverse.
CNN Money has compiled a list of departing vehicles, to which we've added a few more of our own. In the slow sales column, cars like the Lexus HS 250h, Mercedes-Benz R-Class and the full Maybach lineup appear, while the Ford Escape Hybrid, Mazda CX-7 and Hyundai Veracruz are all having their gaps filled with more modern and more fuel-efficient alternatives. Obvious exceptions to the rule include models that still sell in decent numbers like the Jeep Liberty and the Chrysler Town & Country (which will eventually be replaced by a crossover-like vehicle).

GM warning 800,000 owners that their cars may need oil changes more frequently than they say
Fri, 05 Apr 2013The days of changing your engine oil every 3,000 miles are long gone thanks to most cars having automatic oil monitoring systems, but about 800,000 General Motors vehicles apparently have incorrect monitoring software that is leading to premature engine component wear. According to Autoweek, certain 2010-2012 Buick LaCrosse, Regal, Chevrolet Equinox and GMC Terrain models equipped with 2.4-liter four-cylinder engines could be going too long in between oil changes resulting in a higher-than-normal number of warranty claims for the engine's balance chain. The balance chain links the balance shaft to the crankshaft, and a worn one can produce higher noise levels.
As a fix, GM dealers will be reprogramming the software for the monitors in an effort to reduce the interval between oil changes, which varies based on driving habits and conditions. Through February 2015, the software update will be done at no cost to vehicle owners, but since this is not a recall, after that point, it will be up to the discretion of dealers as to whether or not they will charge for the service. What isn't immediately clear is whether GM plans on giving assistance to out-of-warranty customers who are experiencing engine issues from the worn chain.
