up for sale 1989 chevy conversion van lx series, in very good condition runs good driven daily recent inspection,power options factory van rallys has starcraft tan painted striping, garaged most of its life no major rust radio only works when it wants to which isn't very often, but everything else works including ac, sun roof doesn't leak I never use it due to I use the ac when im in it cause I have bad breathing issues. I love the van but my health is failing so time to get rid of some things. its a great van for vacationing its got 190788 miles on it, but it is driven daily, back seat folds down into a bed, the other 4 seats are captains chairs, has tinted back side windows and curtains for privacy.has a 33 gallon tank so if you fill it up you can travel pretty far,has small dent on spare tire cover in back tires are used they pasted for this inspection,but will need replaced eventually 225/75 r15 the wheels are 5 lug but suspention is 3/4 mobile home suspention so van is heavy duty have class 1 hitch right now, but you could put a class 3 and tow what you want has 400r transmission 350 smallblock engine very reliable transportation.check out my feedback score 100% so look with confidence see pictures enjoy thanks for looking.

Expect greater differentiation in GM's next-generation SUVs
Thu, 03 Jan 2013General Motors says its next-generation Chevrolet Tahoe, Suburban, GMC Yukon and Cadillac Escalade models will offer shoppers improved interior differentiation. Car and Driver recently caught up with Chris Hilts, GM's creative manager of interior design, who said that the cabins will all feature unique instrument panels, consoles, center stacks and switchgear moving forward. Apparently GM is now aware that consumers may be bothered by the fact that today's $85,000 Escalade has effectively the same cabin as a $45,000 Tahoe. Hilts says SUV buyers want more refinement than their pickup purchasing counterparts - and those same buyers also want their SUVs to have more exterior differentiation between the company's Silverado and Sierra pickup lines. Shocking.
That all sounds good to us, but we've heard this song and dance before. GM made big waves about how different the new-for-2013 Silverado and Sierra would look from each other, but judging by what we've seen so far, GM's stylists are painting in shades rather than with the full spectrum. Mon, 27 May 2013If the 2013 Indy 500 were a movie it would be the one expected to win all the little statues come awards season, and if it were an athlete it would have made spectators watch in awe as it broke record after record. And this kind of talk comes after last year's race was considered one of the best ever - the last lap hijinks in 2012 and Takuma Sato's crash leading to a podium ceremony straight out of a Golden Globes tearjerker.
But this year's race delivered more than anyone expected, from the 250,000 fans to the commentators to the IndyCar series itself and, finally, to the guy who hopped through a two-mile window on Lap 197 to take the lead and keep it until the end.
GM recalling nearly 4,000 vehicles over airbag concerns
Thu, 31 Jan 2013Four different General Motors vehicles from the 2012 model year are being recalled over a potential airbag issue. The driver's side airbag shorting bar in the 2012 Buick Verano and 2012 Chevrolet Camaro, Cruze and Sonic might make contact with the airbag terminals, even during a crash. If so, the airbag won't deploy when it should, possibly increasing injury to the driver.
The recall is expected to begin on February 13 for the 3,896 units that might be affected. GM will notify owners who can then take their vehicles to dealers to have the airbag coil replaced. A bulletin from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration below has more info.
