Up for sale is this 1960 Chevy Impala 2 dr. Hard Top. I have a clear blue texas title. I purchased this car with the intentions of fully restoring this beauty, unfortunatly i am forced to sell so my loss is your gain. This '60 Impala comes with a strong 283 v8 motor electronic distributor ignition starts on a dime every time, has a 2 speed powerglide transmission, and dual exhaust. Car has new brake shoes all around, a new master cylinder, and alternator. Car has fresh motor oil and transmission fluid. This is a running '60 impala but is a project car meaning needs full restore needs front floor pans rear window needs to be re installed. Car is missing rear tail fin chrome, rear window chrome trim. All glass is there passenger door glass window is cracked. The rear trunk hendges need to be re welded onto rear fender wells. The interior is over all good condition with some tears on drivers side has head liner intact but missing some interior chrome trim aswell. The lights work as shown in the pictures overall a great 1960 impala project. Chevy Sonic shreds like a skateboard
Tue, 19 Mar 2013Despite the fact that the 2013 Chevy Sonic is a fun, plucky little thing - especially in ever-so-slightly hotter RS guise - it is not, in fact, a skateboard. But don't tell that to rapper Theophilus London.
In General Motors' latest spot for the Chevrolet compact, London needs to make a quick run to the store for some milk. And even though, once again, the Sonic is not a skateboard, it ollies, pops and gets air because, you know, it's just so much fun to throw around.

Chevy Corvette Stingray "colorizer" lets you chase the rainbow
Thu, 14 Feb 2013After you've convinced your better half to let you buy a new Corvette, then comes the hard part... actually figuring out which 'Vette you want. While Chevrolet has yet to release the official configurator for the 2014 Corvette Stingray, it did give us something else to kill some time playing around with.
The C7 Corvette "colorizer" recently went online, and it lets you look at the car in all of its available colors and wheel options from four different angles so that when this car does go on sale, you know exactly which one you want. It includes the Corvette's full pallet of colors including Torch Red, Laguna Blue and the hue you see above, Velocity Yellow. Toss in the black wheels, and we're sold. Ford, Toyota clean up in Best Car For The Money Awards
Fri, 22 Feb 2013The U.S. News Best Cars for the Money Awards picks winners by looking at the average transaction price, five-year total cost of ownership, the regard a car has from the automotive press, reliability figures from J.D. Power and Associates and safety data from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety. The result, according to the magazine, is "the best combination of critical acclaim and long-term value."
Ford nabbed six of the 21 categories that received awards this year, the Focus, Fusion, Fusion Hybrid, Taurus, Escape and Edge getting trophies. Toyota and its Lexus and Scion sub-brands took another five, the Tacoma and Tundra owning the two categories given to pickup trucks. The other ten awards were split between Honda with three, Buick with two, and one each for Subaru, BMW, Hyundai, Chevrolet and Mazda.
