Completely stock 1996 Impala SS. Two owners.90% of records, this was the owner of a medium sized road/bridge building company, hence all the records. I have all the receipts for the work I have accomplished. Everything works on the car as it should with the exception of the AC. I replaced the AC pump this past summer and it was working, however, the Freon leaked out by the end of the summer so that will need to be addressed.

I have done a complete rebuild on the front end and had it aligned. I have done the front brakes, rotors turned, wheel bearings repacked, new pads. I had the front drivers seat repaired as it was torn/ripped. The interior is very nice, no more rips or tears. Tires are about 85%. Replaced water pump. I did almost everything the car needed. only thing left to address beside the AC is it does have a oil leak at the front of the motor. Not a major one, but it is there, and I would plan on addressing it.

Overall the car is in very nice shape. Being an Oregon car their is not rust. (We do not use salt on our roads). It has a minor area where the paint is peeling on the rear left door jamb about 2 inches long. Has a couple of small dings that you would expect of a car that has been driven. I would say it is an excellent 5 footer. It has the original paint. Transmission shifts smooth throughout all 4 gears.

When I bought the car it had 2 grapefruit dents on the drivers side doors, front and back. I was able to find two matching doors at the wrecking yard and installed them. The paint matches perfectly. I have them aligned pretty good, but you might want to have them fine tuned.

Chevy exec confirms SS production model reveal at Daytona on Feb 16

The 2014 Chevrolet SS will make its racing debut for the 2013 Daytona 500, but the production version of the car will get its official unveiling on February 16 in Daytona, a week before The Great American Race. According to a report by Automotive News, the reveal has been confirmed by Jim Campbell, Chevy's US vice president of performance and motorsports. With the departure of the Dodge Charger, the new Chevrolet racecar will be the only competitor to feature a V8, rear-wheel-drive layout in both street and NASCAR form.
NASCAR fans will be able to see the new fullsize performance-oriented sedan on display in the festivities leading up to the Daytona 500, but the car won't go on sale until later in the year. The Australian-built Chevy SS will be a low-volume performance model, and it will be priced above the 2014 Impala, which starts at $27,535.

2013 Chevy COPO Camaro announced with two new engines and manual option

Chevrolet is following up the 2012 COPO Camaro with another limited run of the drag-strip-ready production car for 2013. Ditching the superchargers, the 2013 COPO Camaro can only be equipped with one of three naturally aspirated V8 engines, and other new features include the option of a manual transmission, new front springs, some minor styling changes and a lower starting price of $86,000. All cars are designed to abide by the rules of the NHRA's Stock Eliminator or Super Stock classifications, depending on in which series buyers wish to enter their Chevrolet Camaro.
Returning for 2013 is the 427-cubic-inch V8 producing 425 horsepower, but the new engines include a 325-hp 350-CID V8 and a 375-hp 396-CID V8. Buyers can select to purchase all three engines, and each will be matched with the sequence number of that car; the track-only COPO cars will not have vehicle identification numbers and can't be registered for street use.
Chevrolet is also offering unique enthusiast-specific options such as a COPO Build Book and the opportunity for owners to help assemble their car's engine at the Chevrolet Performance Build Center in Wixom, MI.
