this 2011 chevy impala has 14,200 miles on it and is currently under balance of factory warranties as follows , bumper to bumper 36,500. power train 100,500. corrosion 90,000. electronic 80,000 ... this vehicle was a former law enforcement vehicle,it was regularly maintained and serviced under there fleet guidelines ... the interior of the car shows virtually no wear and is clean there is no equipment mounted inside and no rips or tears .. the drive line is in great shape!,i would say not even broke in,the car handles and performs like new .... the tires are at least 90% all the way around... there are provisions for driver and passenger spotlights on the car and they can be put on, they are covered at the moment as pictured but can be installed at anytime .. as for the exterior the car is clean but does have a few scratches and dings here and there which is to be expected with any government vehicle... there are zero major dents or damage to the car otherwise.. the car is as good as they get for any former police or government vehicle its basically just starting its life...there are many things to tell about this car, and i am sure there are details i missed so please don't hesitate to give me a call@267-377-7605 for the quickest response .... i am listing this vehicle as an auction and reserve the right to cancel any bid that has a feedback of less then 2 unless you call me and confirm first.... the value of this car under used fleet guidelines are as follows lowest value 13,450 fair value 14,800 good value 16,200 ... tho i am not trying to get full retail for the car i am also not going to give it away ,so please bid accordingly . thank you for your interest and good luck bidders and buyers !!!

New Chevrolet Silverado to be revealed on Facebook on Thursday
Tue, 11 Dec 2012There's not much to see here, but if you're one of those waiting for the reveal of the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, above is the teaser image that Chevrolet posted on its Facebook page. We've seen the truck in form-fitting camo before, and even less can be made out here beyond those seriously punchy Silverado-esque fenders and the knowledge that the projector-beam headlamps teased previously do indeed work. We'll have to wait until Thursday for a full perusal of the "bold exterior design" and "careful attention given to every detail" we've been promised.
Gathering intel and rumors, magnesium and aluminum contribute to the Silverado's weight loss plan, the purported "High Country" top-tier trim will contribute to luxury pickup truck competition and profit margins and the next-generation small-block V8 will contribute to improved fuel economy. On the engine note, there have been rumors of available V6 engines, and when Facebook user John Jones asked "Where's your answer to that EcoBoost Chevy?", the Bowtie replied "stay tuned on the 13th. We think you'll be pleased...".
Along with the "Raise the Bar" tag, Chevrolet says of the Silverado, "You asked, we delivered." You can watch the reveal live on Chevrolet's Facebook page at 9:30 am EST, this Thursday, December 13. The GMC Sierra 1500 will also be there, and we'll see both in person at the Detroit Auto Show in January.
Feds open investigation into Chevy Express, Ford Freestar rust issues
Wed, 28 Dec 2011'Tis the season... for road salt. And with that, comes rust. And what does rust bring? Well, for Ford and General Motors, a National Highway Traffic Safety Administration investigation. According to The Detroit News, NHTSA is looking into potential recalls issues with Chevrolet Express vans and Ford Freestar minivans.
The feds have received five complaints that rust has caused leaking fuel filler pipes on 2003 Express vans. Separately, seven complaints have been filed over excessive rust in the rear wheel wells of 2004 Ford Freestar and Mercury Monterey minivans. The Freestar and Monterey went out of production in 2007. Neither issue has resulted in any crashes or injuries, according to the report.

Wed, 13 Mar 2013Full Disclosure: in my younger days, I loved nothing more than tormenting passengers with my behind-the-wheel hijinks. Once, after a particularly artful handbrake turn on a two-lane at around 50 miles per hour, I left one backseat occupant crying in their own lap. This isn't necessarily something to be proud of, but it gives you a glimpse into why it is that I find this ad from Pepsi so damn disappointing. The premise is beautiful. Take NASCAR legend Jeff Gordon, give him a disguise and set him loose upon some unsuspecting used car dealer. Hilarity ensues.
Except that this Pepsi Max commercial is so obviously staged, it can't help but feel like some ham-fisted marketing fail. From the strategically placed aftermarket cupholder mounted mid-dash for the hidden camera to the fact that the supposed dealer Camaro is displayed as a 2009 model (Hint: Chevrolet didn't make any), this clip is about as organic as a Twinkie. Still, we would never turn down a chance to watch Gordon thrash on a rental-spec coupe - only problem is, he probably didn't even do the driving himself. Check it out below.
