FACTORY A/C THAT ONLY REQUIRED COMPRESSOR BEARING AND R-12 RECHARGE (BLOWS COLD). FACTORY AM RADIO. DASH AND STEERING WHEEL ARE IN EXCELLENT SHAPE WITH NO VISIBLE DAMAGE, INTERIOR IS ALL ORIGINAL AND IN GOOD USABLE CONDITION. BODY IS VERY STRAIGHT WITH ONLY A SMALL PATCH OF SURFACE RUST AROUND DOOR HANDLE ON PASSENGER SIDE. CAR HAS HAD AN OLDER BODY OVERHAUL WITH METAL REAR QUARTERS WELDED IN, NO WORK VISIBLE FROM OUTSIDE. PAINT IS GOOD WITH NORMAL SCRATCHES AND CHIPS. CAR RUNS AND DRIVES VERY WELL, I HAVE DRIVEN IT SEVERAL HUNDRED MILES SINCE PURCHASE. HAVE REPLACED SPARK PLUG WIRES AND CLEANED TOP HALF OF CARB OUT WHEN FIRST PURCHASED. MOTOR DOES NOT SMOKE OR HAVE ANY RATTLES OR KNOCKS. TRANSMISSION SHIFTS LIKE IT SHOULD AND HAS LEAK AROUND PAN GASKET. THERE IS VERY MINOR RUST INSIDE TRUNK SEAMS (SEE PICTURE). FRONT BRAKES ARE DISC, REAR DRUM. CAR DRIVES, STEERS, AND STOPS JUST LIKE IS WAS BUILT TO. HOW MANY COMPLETELY FACTORY EQUIPPED OLD BIG BLOCK, BUCKET SEAT, CONSOLE CARS ARE STILL LEFT OUT THERE? AND THIS ONE HAS WORKING ORIGINAL COLD A/C. STILL HAS THE DUAL EXHAUST SYSTEM BUT TAIL PIPES ARE IN NEED OF REPLACEMENT. TIRES ARE IN GOOD SHAPE. THIS MONTE CARLO CAN BE DRIVEN TO CAR SHOWS JUST AS IT SETS OR WITH LITTLE EXPENSE COULD BE A $25,000 CROWD STOPPER. NO RESERVE, BID TO OWN, CLEAR KANSAS TITLE.

The Z06 is just about everything we got in the last ZR1, but better.
After a bright-yellow false start, here is the real thing: the fourth-generation, 2015 Corvette Z06. If Chevrolet makes a ZR1 version of the C7 Corvette, it's going to be absolutely mega, because the Z06 is just about everything we got in the last ZR1, but better.
Joe Flacco wins C7 Corvette along with MVP honors
Mon, 04 Feb 2013As part of a longstanding tradition, the MVP of Super Bowl XLVII, Joe Flacco, quarterback for the Baltimore Ravens, was given a new car directly after the game and trophy celebrations. For 2013, that car is a 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, and it was presented to Flacco by Rick Flick of Banner Chevrolet, a dealership in New Orleans that was wiped out by Hurricane Katrina in 2005 before returning to prominence as the only Chevy dealer in Orleans Parish.
Last year, Super Bowl MVP Eli Manning took home a 2012 Corvette GS Centennial Edition. Manning also won in 2008, when he selected a Cadillac Escalade Hybrid as his reward. In 2011, quarterback Aaron Rodgers accepted the keys to a Camaro convertible.
Though we're most definitely an auto-obsessed group, we did watch the Big Game along with nearly everyone else in America. And we've gotta say, as if winning the Super Bowl and receiving the Tiffany-designed Pete Rozelle Trophy wasn't enough for the multi-millionaire MVP athletes, a brand-new C7 seems like an awfully generous prize. Chevy Corvette Stingray "colorizer" lets you chase the rainbow
Thu, 14 Feb 2013After you've convinced your better half to let you buy a new Corvette, then comes the hard part... actually figuring out which 'Vette you want. While Chevrolet has yet to release the official configurator for the 2014 Corvette Stingray, it did give us something else to kill some time playing around with.
The C7 Corvette "colorizer" recently went online, and it lets you look at the car in all of its available colors and wheel options from four different angles so that when this car does go on sale, you know exactly which one you want. It includes the Corvette's full pallet of colors including Torch Red, Laguna Blue and the hue you see above, Velocity Yellow. Toss in the black wheels, and we're sold.
