1972 Monte Carlo with 350/350 tranny.Runs and shifts great,engine is all original with a/c that just needs to be charged.new dual 2 chamber flowmasters and 3 inch stainless steel tips.Has new bell tech 2" drop spindles in the front,new hotchkis idler arm,inner and outer tie rods,center link,tie rod sleeves,with 4 new bilstein shocks.Interior is in great shape and needs nothing,seats are black with dark red inserts,headliner in perfect shape,has new tach mounted on steering column and gauges under the dash.Body work has been started and just needs to be finished and the doors and fenders lined up better. Only selling to finish my 71. The rally wheels are not included but can be bought for an additional fee and only have maybe 20 miles on wheels an tires,will have original rally wheels on it with tires that hold air. Have brand new front bumper,2 extra back bumpers and all chrome,this is a complete car. Just needs new windshield,alignment,body work and paint. Email with any questions or text 256-349-8603. GM recalls select Chevy Cruze, Sonic and Buick Verano models over airbag issue
Wed, 14 Nov 2012General Motors is recalling certain 2012 Buick Verano, Chevrolet Cruze and Sonic models due to a defect in the driver's airbag system. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the airbag has a shorting bar which may contact two internal terminals. If that happens during a crash, the supplemental restraint may not deploy, increasing the risk of driver injury. The recall includes a total of 2,949 units.
GM will contact owners and replace the steering wheel airbag coil at no cost. At this point, it's unclear when the recall will begin, though owners may contact the automaker at 1-800-521-7300 for more information. You may also take a closer look at the full NHTSA notice below.
2014 Chevy Silverado High Country spied wearing trappings of new luxury trim
Wed, 03 Apr 2013Spy photographers have spotted the new Chevrolet Silverado High Country and GMC Sierra Denali out on public streets for a little testing. From the looks of things, the Silverado will receive a much-differentiated front fascia along with special badges and those honking 20-inch chrome wheels. Expect to find a more posh interior as well. Likewise, the Sierra Denali will wear a tweaked nose with the familiar Denali bling. The one of the GMC trucks spotted here rolls on 21-inch gunmetal wheels instead of the 20-inch chrome pieces of the High Country.
Word has it both trucks will go on sale after the Texas State Fair this summer. While General Motors hasn't said for certain what we can expect to find under the hood, we'd be surprised to see anything outside of the range of engines found in the standard Silverado and Sierra models. That means buyers should be able to get their hands on the efficient, 23-miles per gallon 5.3-liter V8.
Chevy gets cracking on Cruze EV fleet testing

The Chevrolet Volt hasn't yet gone on sale, but General Motors is looking at ways of expanding its electric vehicle lineup. Chevy, along with partner LG, is employing a group of all-electric cars in the form of the Cruze. The sedans are part of a demonstration fleet which is located in Seoul, South Korea and is being used to provide data in an electric vehicle research project. The goal is to gather information on driving patterns and charging behavior in addition to consumer acceptance.
The Cruze EVs, along with some Daewoo Lacetti Premieres EVs, are the first fleet of full-size electric vehicles and should provide invaluable information for The General. Staying full-size means not sacrificing cargo space, so the battery pack is mounted to the underbody, leaving the trunk area open for plenty recyclable, canvas grocery bags.
